Harlow came in for her summer haircut, and she was an absolute natural for her grooming appointment! ✂️

Her family likes to keep her coat short since she loves exploring the woods and getting out on adventures. A shorter trim helps keep her comfortable and makes post-walk cleanups a little easier.

Harlow was calm, cooperative, and took everything in stride. Such a sweet girl, and she left looking fresh, tidy, and ready for all her summer adventures!

12-year-old Bentley came in for a groom today!

At her age, her mom wants to maintain a short coat for comfort, and throughout her appointment we noticed some signs that confirmed this was the best choice for Bentley as well.

Bentley was quite restless, didn't enjoy the blow dryer, wasn't a fan of having her feet and legs handled, and preferred not to stand for long periods. Senior dogs often need a little extra patience and understanding, and that's exactly what we provide.

We took things slowly, offered plenty of breaks, and kept the environment calm and stress-free. To help accommodate Bentley, we broke her blow dry and haircut into smaller sections, allowing her to rest comfortably between each step.

Our goal is always to make grooming a positive experience, especially for our senior guests. Bentley did a great job today, and we're so happy we could help keep her comfortable. 💕

Sunday's visitor was B.B. the Husky! 🐾

B.B.'s dad is in Quesnel for work and wanted to treat his best buddy to a spa day. Since Sundays are their only day off, we were happy to accommodate and get B.B. in for some well-deserved pampering.

This handsome guy gets to go to work with his dad every day, and it's easy to see why he's such a great companion. What a stunning man and an absolute pleasure to spend time with! 💙

Ben & Ruby's Spa Day!

We spent 4 hours with Ben and Ruby today, and it was such a special experience. This brother-and-sister duo are truly the best of friends.

Ben was Ruby's source of reassurance throughout their appointments, always making sure she was okay. Ruby didn't stray far from her brother either—she climbed into the tub with him during his bath and laid by his side during his blow dry. Watching their bond and the comfort they bring each other was incredibly touching.

It's moments like these that remind us how special our dogs' relationships can be. ❤️

Winston and Cooper the Pugs stopped by for a de-shed today!

These handsome boys are visiting Quesnel from Grande Prairie for the weekend. Their parents noticed they were shedding a lot during the drive, so they reached out to see if we could fit them in—and we couldn't say no!

After a good de-shed treatment, Winston and Cooper left feeling fresh, comfortable, and with a whole lot less fur ready to decorate the vehicle.

Sparty (Spartacus) came in ready to shed!

This handsome husky had chunks of coat ready to come out, so we started with a thorough blow-out before his bath and followed up with another blow-out afterward. The results were incredible—just check out the reel!

What a stunning guy!... We couldn't resist matching his bandana to those gorgeous blue eyes. 💙

Sweet Sadie came in for her very first grooming appointment today! 🛁

At 3 years old, grooming can feel like a brand-new experience, and it's completely normal for dogs to feel a little unsure. Sadie was quite anxious during her visit, so we took things at her pace and made adjustments to help her feel as comfortable as possible.

To support Sadie, we:
🐾 Used our large tub instead of the raised tub since the lower entry felt less intimidating and more open.
🐾 Paused the blow dryer whenever she became restless and waited for her to settle before continuing.
🐾 Chose not to dry her completely so we could keep the experience positive and stress-free.
🐾 Rewarded her with lots and lots of treats for her brave moments and good choices throughout the appointment.

We didn't get many photos during Sadie's visit, and that's because our focus was on keeping her calm, comfortable, and confident rather than stopping to take pictures.

Our goal isn't just a clean dog—it's helping dogs build confidence and trust in the grooming process. Every positive experience is a step forward, and we're so proud of Sadie for working through something new today.

Rocky the German Shepherd Cross came in for a spa day today! His owner isn't quite sure what Rocky is crossed with—only that he's the best boy, and we couldn't agree more! 💙

Rocky was the perfect example of why short-haired dogs still benefit from regular grooming. While many people assume short coats don't shed much, Rocky proved otherwise! Between a thorough brush-out, bath, and blow dry, we couldn't believe the amount of hair that came off him.

Regular grooming helps remove loose undercoat, keeps skin and coat healthy, and can make a huge difference in the amount of fur left around your home.

Rocky was an absolute gentleman throughout his appointment, and we loved spending the day with him. We can't wait to see him again! 🐾
