Cookie came in for her summer haircut and left looking absolutely adorable!

Her mom mentioned that she has some skin irritations, so we opted for a pre-clip before her bath. This allows the shampoo and skin-care products to reach the skin more effectively where they're needed most.

Cookie was such a good girl, and we can't get enough of her fresh summer look—especially with her new SPF Sunshirt ☀️

Hope was the first Brittany Spaniel we've had in the salon, and it was also her very first grooming appointment! She was a little anxious about leaving Dad's side, but she quickly showed us what a brave girl she is.

For her groom, we gave her a field-style cut—keeping her comfortable, practical, and a little easier to maintain while still looking adorable. Perfect for a breed that loves exploring the outdoors and tagging along on hunting adventures. 🍂🦆

Hope did so well for her first grooming experience, and we can't wait to see her again.

Sweet Bella came in for a spa day today.

Bella was also feeling a bit anxious during her appointment, so we took our time, offered plenty of breaks, and worked at a pace she was comfortable with. As a result, her groom took a little longer than usual, but her comfort and well-being always come first.

While she may be sporting a shorter look than originally hoped, she's now clean, comfortable, and ready to enjoy the summer feeling much better. With regular brushing and grooming appointments, we can work toward maintaining a longer coat in the future. ❤️

Meet Brie!

This sweet Golden Retriever doesn't usually venture out without her sister by her side, so she was a little unsure at first. But her Golden Retriever energy quickly started to shine through, and she did wonderfully during her visit.

Brie is the second half of another adorable sister duo we've had the pleasure of meeting, and we can't wait to welcome Echo next week and give her the same one-on-one care and attention.

We love getting to know each dog's unique personality, and Brie was an absolute joy! 🥰

Not every dog loves a busy grooming environment, and honestly, not every person does either!

That's why our private self-serve spa is such a great option for fearful, reactive, nervous, or easily overwhelmed dogs. Enjoy a quiet space, no crowded waiting room, and the freedom to go at your dog's pace.

Our girl Frankie is just the sweetest!

Today she soaked up every cuddle she could get from us, or we did her, and honestly, we don't think she would have had it any other way. 💕

Frankie visits us for nail trims and deshedding treatments. For short-haired breeds, including bully breeds, one of our favourite tools is a curry brush. It helps lift loose hair, stimulates the skin, and can make a big difference during shedding season.

If you're struggling to find the right brush for your short-coated pup at home, a quality rubber curry brush is often a great place to start.

Sweet senior girl Saiko came in for some much-needed TLC today. Her family wanted to focus on comfort, so we chose an easy-care trim that would be simple to maintain at home.

Like many small dogs, Saiko had some buildup around her eyes and face. Rather than trying to remove it all at once, we carefully trimmed away what we could, shampooed and soaked the area to help soften the remaining buildup throughout the groom, then went back in to gently trim, comb, and clean it out once it had loosened. Taking our time helps make the process more comfortable and less stressful for our senior pups.

Saiko left feeling fresh, clean, and much more comfortable. Unfortunately, she was a little camera shy after her spa day, so the after photos don't quite capture her glow-up! ✨

We always have a soft spot for our senior dogs and love helping them feel their best.

At 13 years old, today was a big day for this sweet senior girl. ❤️

Kayleigh's family shared an inspiration photo they'd love to work toward, but after our initial brushing, we felt it was important to focus on the essentials first. Nearly an hour was spent carefully working through matting before we could begin her groom. Her appointment ran over schedule, but her comfort and well-being came first.

She's now in much better shape, and with regular maintenance, that inspiration style may be achievable in the future. We're so proud of Kayleigh for getting through a long day, and we're happy to report that her family was happy with the results.

Way to go, Kayleigh! 🐾

Welcome to Quesnel, Birdie! 🐾

Birdie and her family are new to town, and she and her sister have been making the most of their new big yard. With all that outdoor fun came a few cottonwood stickies tangled into her coat!

As with any doodle, preparation before the haircut makes all the difference. Taking the time to properly brush, comb, and prep the coat helps achieve a smoother finish and keeps the grooming experience comfortable for your dog.

We hear her sister is her complete opposite, so we're excited to meet her next weekend and see just how different these two sisters really are! 🐶
