Currently only providing service to those in the Quesnel area (for pet checks/visits and dogwalking only). Sorry, I'm not available for overnight homestays (in your home) at this time. I don't offer pet boarding at this time.

Hello everyone! Just a general update as to what services I'm currently offering (more info can always be found under this page's "Services" tab).

I'm still available to take on new clients for dog-walking in Quesnel. This is a great option for offering your dog(s) a break during the day while you're away at work!

I'm also available to do "pet checks" when it comes to the petsitting side of my service. This involves me coming to check on your pets anywhere from 1-3 times during the day while you're away, and all the general care required for said pet. This is a good option for dogs who need breaks/excursions while their people are working during the day, however, isn't a good option for longer term care (unless they have a dog door/access to a run when they need to relieve themselves overnight). This is a service I tend to do more for cats than most other animals, but I have experience doing pet checks for rabbits, degus, fish, some reptiles, hedgehogs, and more.

I'm currently not booking for "overnight" petsitting (where I house sit in your home while you're away). I also don't offer boarding as a service at this time.

Hello everyone! Hope you're all managing to stay cool in this crazy heat currently.
For 2020 until now, I haven't been open for petsitting, but with the lessening of Covid cases, I'll be starting back up some of my services.
Due to personal obligations (to be home overnight), I'll only be providing petsitting services via "Home/Pet Checks", and won't be able to stay in other homes overnight.
I cannot board pets in my own home at this time, outside of ferrets (who I am perfectly set up for).

I'm also debating about offering my dog walking services again to the Quesnel area, if there is enough interest. My requirement per household is a commitment to booking for three (or more) walks per week. I made the observation a while back (when I walked full-time in PG) that providing less than this number per week often resulted in very frustrated, poorly leash-behaved dogs, in large part because the one or two walks I was hired for each week were the ONLY walks the poor pups were getting. This frustration and over-excitement was greatly lessened with a 3+ walks/week commitment, naturally.

I'll be updating my services page on here to reflect changes and provide further information on these options.

Hello everyone!
I'm officially at the 9th anniversary of starting up as a Petsitter, and it's been quite the wild (and fun) ride!
That said, change is the spice of life, and the services I'll continue to provide also need to go through a bit of change.

At this time, I won't be taking on any new clients for Petsitting in the PG area. (I may still be able to work the odd overnight job for an existing/regular client, but I am cutting back this service quite a bit, even so.)

In Quesnel, I won't be taking any new clients for OVERNIGHT (homestay) petsitting jobs. I will, however, still be open for Home Visits/Pet Checks with both new and regular clients.

I've hit the point where I need to stay closer to home now, so overnight stays simply aren't a service I can offer all the time anymore. Perhaps in the future this might change; in which case, I will update the page to reflect that.

I'm currently fully booked for summer. Will update later (towards Fall) as to availability for Fall and beyond.

Hello again, everyone!
I'm almost fully booked now for summer petsitting. I'm only open for bookings in July at present, so if you're interested, let me know ASAP! Definitely has booked up fast this year.
Bookings from September through the last half of the year are currently on hold, as I may or may not be available for that chunk of the year. Will update here on that sometime in summer, when I know for sure. =)

Hope everyone has been having a Happy New Year so far!
Spring is booking up pretty quick, so if you're planning a getaway in the near future, I'd recommend inquiring ASAP. Also have been starting to fill in summer!
April is nearly fully-booked, with only the last week of April available.
March is half-booked, with dates leading up to the 17th available.
One week in February is currently booked, but otherwise is open! (Not booked over Valentine's currently)

Hello again, everyone!
I won't be available for the rest of September, due to family circumstances, but I'm still taking bookings for October and November. If interested in dates that fall in these months, I'm looking forward to hearing from you! Besides them, I'm always open to book for further ahead (into the New Year). There has already been some interest in spring, so if planning to get away, I always encourage you to let me know your dates ASAP so I can confirm availability.
Due to how much moving around I do (especially during the busy months!), text, email, or messaging via this page are the quickest (and easiest) ways to reach me.

Hello again, everyone!

I'm currently booking October and November. Let me know if you're interested in any dates in these months!

September booking is currently on hold - will open it to booking again when I have all my "ducks in a row" that month. Thanks!

December is basically fully booked - though with being committed to working in PG over Christmas, I am leaving a pet-check spot or two open for PG area, as long as you're an easy commute from where I will be staying (College Heights area).

For pet checks, I have a minimum requirement of once daily checks (for cats). I generally hesitate to do pet checks for dogs, unless it's simply to give them a break while their people are at work.

Hope everyone has had a lovely long weekend!
Summer is filling up, but I still have openings scattered throughout.
Fall is completely open for bookings currently, but with how bookings are working this year, I doubt it'll stay that way for long! So if you're thinking of getting away in the fall, drop me a line ASAP.
General Service Reminder: I serve quite a wide area (Prince George and Quesnel).
For Quesnel, being that I live here, there is no "minimum stay" requirement. I also offer "Pet Checks" or "Visits" when I'm working at home in Quesnel, to other clients.
However, I only provide service to the PG area for jobs that are 7 days or longer (due to distance/gas, I don't want to be bouncing between towns every 2-3 days!).
I am a Pet-Sitter. I come and stay in YOUR home. I do not offer boarding services at this time.
