Universal has done his job walking our farm and we’re giving someone else the opportunity to walk this elite herdsire.

He has put his mark on our program siring so many beautiful heifers that will be staying in production here at Goodview, we can’t wait to see what their future holds. They are eye appealing, broody females with a desirable temperment. We call him a sure female maker but there’s no doubt about it that his overall mass stamps his bull calves as well.

The decision doesn’t come lightly to part ways with him but we’d like to see him have the chance to work in other programs as he wraps up his job at Goodview this year. He has maintained his barrel and big hip, nice foot, and tracks perfectly, and not to mention he’s a big teddy bear.

Another bull sale season is behind us and to say thank you never feels like enough. It means the world to us for everyone who showed interest in a bull, purchased a bull and everything in between. We wouldn’t be able to do this without all of the support from our friends and cattle producers. As usual we never take enough pictures of our crew or at the sale but here’s a few captured along the way.
Stay tuned to see what we’re up to in this years breeding season as well, some exciting genetics coming down the pipeline.

It’s sale week! Thank you to everyone who came out to view the bulls and their dams this past weekend it was a great day.

Here are two BLB Lincoln 310L sired bulls that got alot of attention in the pen this weekend. If you want a bull with raw power to sire calves with tons of growth these guys will get the job done for you. Get behind them and appreciate their width.

We have a large group of black bulls to pick from this year, 4 'cow' bulls who are paternal brothers, and 1 balancer Calving ease bull!

RTG L125 did a great job on these first four bulls. BLB 526N & BLB 502N are nearly clones of one another. They are long bodied, big massed individuals that pattern so similar. See them on the move to witness how soundly these big bulls move.

BLB 510N is a very correctly made, eye appealing bull with a great hair coat. Also stamped with that big hip and overall mass.

BLB 548N is the second youngest bull in the offering out of a first calver. He's got tons of performance and is screaming up from behind exhibiting all the positive traits of his brothers. He has changed so much since picture day, make sure to give him a good look!

BLB 551N is the calving ease prospect. He is sired by a Crescent Creek Angus heifer bull. He's got tons of calving ease built into his pedigree with good growth.

When the guys from T Bar came and toured our bull pen a month back the BLB Kingston 221K sons rose to the top of their power bull picks. We’ve been high on these bulls for months, with 508N earning his spot as our feature bull early on.

BLB NATIONAL 508N. There’s a lot we love about this bull. He’s got length of body, width, deep sided, good footed and that desired color to boot. He has got a bright future ahead and is ready to take on herd sire duties.

BLB NAVIGATOR 543N. This is an extremely structurally correct, eye appealing bull with the beautiful cherry red color. To top off his near perfect make up he is so soft tempered.

BLB NOVA 505N. He has less frame than his brothers but he is extremely soft made and is a tank. These are three wide based bulls that will excel at their duties in any program.
