Our Last Hope Animal Rescue Society is a registered non-profit organization in the province of BC. Se Fulfilling dreams for families in British Columbia.

We are a BC Registered Non-Profit animal rescue society making a difference in the lives of dogs and their new owners. We are passionate about matching dogs to their owners for the best possible success of both. Our team of volunteers come from varied backgrounds and walks of life, but all unite with a love for animals. Our Mission...

To promote, protect, rehabilitate and responsibly re-home soci

ety's discarded companion animals. To educate pet owners and others about the proper care and well-being of their pets. We promote and assist this with a low cost spay and neuter program. Our program is unique in the Upper Fraser Valley as there is no other similar; furthermore, we collaborate with the First Nations communities in the environs. Our programs have been well received. We have a Senior-to-Senior program within our program, that matches senior pets with senior citizens, thereby giving them companionship and purpose, the benefits of which have been proven by extensive research. Now serving the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen. We take pride in assessing each and every animal that enters our rescue. For this reason when we state particular requirements and do so as not to set our rescues or families up for failure. We do not just ship an animal to our rescue and flip in within hours of arrival. That is NOT rescue. Each of our rescues leave us behaviorally sound and healthily. Those who need to stay longer do. No one should have to take pity on the condition of a rescue dog if the rescue has done their job properly. We love what we do for both the animals we care for and the people/communities we serve. You can't buy love but you can rescue it!

🐾 Meet Serena — Our Beautiful Little Mama ❤️

Beautiful, affectionate, loyal, obedient and incredibly loving — Serena is an amazing little companion.

Now that Serena’s babies are ready to move on to homes of their own, it’s finally Mama’s turn. We had some previous interest in Serena that unfortunately fell through, so we’re hoping to find a truly amazing forever home for this delightful little girl.

Serena is approximately 3 years old and is a petite Chihuahua. Once she loses the last of her pregnancy weight, we expect her to return to her original weight of approximately 8 pounds.

Serena absolutely loves people. She’s happy to join you for a gentle walk, curl up beside you at home, or simply hang out on the porch watching the sunset together. 🌅 She doesn’t ask for much — she just wants to be close to her person.

She is quiet, affectionate, well-mannered and wonderfully calm and collected — just as her name represents.

Serena has become a true rescue favourite, and after doing such a wonderful job raising her babies, we would love nothing more than to see this beautiful little mama become someone’s cherished companion.

❤️🐾 FOUR SPECIAL DOGS LOOKING FOR THEIR FOREVER HOMES 🐾❤️

Today we’d like to introduce you to Snoopy, Rocky, Miranda & Hazel — four beautiful little dogs, each waiting for the right person to see their photo and think, “That’s the one.” ❤️

🐾 SNOOPY — Our handsome 1½-year-old boy is smart, playful, eager to please and truly a big dog in a little package. Snoopy would love an active home with another playful canine buddy and a securely fenced property.

🐾 ROCKY — This friendly and inquisitive 2-year-old little man is eager to please and ready for new adventures. He can be a little shy at first but warms quickly with a calm, confident person. Rocky is friendly with other dogs and would be a wonderful companion for a mature individual or couple who still enjoys getting out and being active.

💕 MIRANDA & HAZEL — Our beautiful 2-year-old bonded girls are looking for their forever home together. Miranda is the more courageous of the two, while sweet Hazel looks to her sister for reassurance. A calmer, quieter home with someone willing to give them a little patience and lots of love will allow these girls to truly blossom.

Four beautiful faces. Three very different homes needed. One thing they all have in common — they’re waiting for someone to choose them. ❤️🏡

🐾 PUPPY UPDATE! 🐾

We’d like to send a huge thank you to everyone who showed interest and took the time to submit an application for Arlo, Roxy Coco, and Vigo. ❤️

We’re very happy to announce that all three puppies AND Mama now have pending placements! 🏡🐾

We will be keeping all applications on file for future puppies or in case anything happens to fall through with one of the current placements.

Once again, all of us here at Our Last Hope Animal Rescue Society want to sincerely thank you for your interest, your applications, and most importantly, for considering opening your home and heart to a rescue pet. ❤️🐾

Summer break is over… and it’s finally time to meet this precious little family. ❤️🐾

Born on June 19, these beautiful Chihuahua/Terrier cross puppies have completely stolen our hearts. We can honestly say they are one of the sweetest, most adorable litters we’ve welcomed into rescue.

At six weeks old, their little personalities are really beginning to shine. By mid-August, they’ll be eight weeks old and ready to leave the only home they’ve ever known for families of their very own.

Each one is wonderfully unique.

🐶 Arlo is the brave little explorer—curious, confident, and always the first to discover something new.

🐶 Roxy Coco is our gentle little mommy’s girl. She’s a little more cautious, loves to snuggle, and melts into your arms.

🐶 Vigo is the perfect balance of the two—sweet, affectionate, and happy wherever the adventure takes him.

Our greatest hope is that when the time comes, each of these little souls will have a loving family waiting with open arms.

🐾 Meet Bonnie, Sadie & Rocky! 🐾

At just 5 months old and around 11 pounds each, this feisty trio is ready to find families of their very own. We expect them to mature into wonderful medium-sized companions, weighing just under 30 pounds.

While their exact breed mix is unknown, our best guess is that they’re mixed breeds with a strong terrier influence. They have the fun-loving, curious, feisty personalities terrier enthusiasts know and love. Playful, social, and incredibly food motivated, these three little charmers are full of personality and puppy antics. They have a way of stealing hearts within minutes.
