You asked, and we listened.
A lot of you have reached out wanting a way to try farm camp without committing to a full week; whether your child is younger, newer to this kind of thing, or you just want to see how they do before signing up for more.

We heard you.
We have added three single-day camp dates to the end of summer: August 24, 25, and 26, 9am to 3pm. Register for one day, two days, or all three. Entirely up to you. Same full farm camp experience. Animals, open space, real hands-on time outdoors. Just a shorter commitment for families who need that flexibility.

It's a great way to ease in, especially for kids who haven't full day or week-long camps before.

Most teens have aged out of camp but haven't found anything to replace it. They're too old for the crafts-and-games stuff. Too young to feel like they fit anywhere real. And a lot of them are just... adrift.

Beyond the Saddle at Peaceful Place was created for those kids.
It's a horsemanship program, not a riding camp. Teens spend the week working alongside our horses and farm animals; learning how to read behavior, build trust, take on real responsibility. There are no participation trophies here. Just honest work, mentorship, and the kind of confidence that comes from doing something that actually matters.

We treat them like the emerging leaders they are.
Forest walks, land stewardship, group conversations about leadership and communication. Real tasks. Real accountability. Real connection.

We are more than 70% full for July already.
I honestly didn't expect it to go this fast.

Every summer I watch kids arrive here a little wound up; too much screen time, too much noise, not enough space to just be, and by the end of the week something in them settles. They get quieter. More curious. More themselves.
