Hi Everyone,
As yearend nears, I would like to take time to share with you the loss of two very wonderful and very dear dogs - BO, a Maremma mix and ARI, a Boston Terrier. Both were longtime visitors. I met them as young dogs and continued to care for them into old age. Sitting here, thinking of them and all the years of knowing these handsome boys, I find myself reflecting on time - timing and the passing of time.
Bo had a hard time. He was lost or dumped on a road, but as timing can go, Bo was rescued by his forever Dad and lived happily ever after with his best family ever and his best mate ever. Bo was fun and funny, and he truly was a joy to care for. Soft and easygoing and smart too, Bo always deferred to his Queen, Darby. He was just a great dog, and he had a heart that matched that big body of his. I loved and admired him so much. It was heartbreaking saying goodbye for the last time. My deepest condolences to the McQuay Family.
I was introduced to Boston Terriers when I was young, lots of them and I thought that they were crazy great. Meeting Ari years later, crazy did not come to mind at all but great sure did! He had such a cool, chill vibe and I thought that he had the most gorgeous face. In the beginning, Ari came solo and made lots of friends and then, a couple of years ago, he brought his new mate, Lloyd. I saw the boys this summer. I didn't know that it would be Ari's last holiday with us, and I am so glad that I got to see the little guy one last time. Ari was adorable. My deepest condolences to the Zukowski Family.
Take Care, sending love and hugs
Joanne
