Summer is just around the corner and I know so MANY of you need your pups clipped. I am currently working part time while I find a balance that looks after your pups while i pay attention to my self care over the next few months. Joni is currently doing summer bookings at this time so unfortunately there may be a bit of a wait.
I recommend booking when you think your dog will need and appointment, even if its a few months away.

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to write you all a little note with an update.
After the passing of my husband, I have had to make many changes to get me through my day to day routine. I had taken some time off and I thank all of you for your patience when you were suddenly left without a groomer for your dog. (Or cat)
I am currently back to work but I am only working part time until further notice. That means I am only able to see half the clients I normally have been.
Because of this i wanted to let you know that I will not be accepting any new clients this year. My existing clients are all pretty amazing so I want them to be able to get appointments as soon as possible.
If you are a client that has texted to to book appointments in the past I am asking you to please book through messenger. My assistant Joni handles all the bookings now so I can focus on other things while im not at work.
I am always booking roughly 2 months ahead so if you think you will need an appointment for July or August the sooner you place a request, the better chance you will have of getting a spot.
Thank you to all of those who has sent me kind words, made me meals, have given me hugs when I come to groom your pet, and shared stories with me of your own journey through grief after losing your own special loved one. Its been nice to feel a little less alone during this heavy time in my life.
Im taking life one day at a time, and so lucky that those days are spent with sone pretty awesome people and their furry family members 💕

As some of you know i am heavily involved with the Prince George Humane Society ( Im President of the board)
For years now ive been working away at opening a thrift store for the Humane Society that would generate an income so we could increase our medical budget. In doing that we could save many lives while making the quality of life better for others..
For the last couple of months my husband donated all his extra time, energy , and money into making sure all the little things were taken care of in that store.
He passed away just days before we opened..
So last Wednesday was incredibly bittersweet for me as I watched the store open its doors and Jeff was not there to share it with me. Jeff was an animal lover and welcomed every kitten and puppy that needed help and came to our home as if they were staying forever (and some have 😉)
The thrift store is now open everyday from 10 to 5 and is located just off Victoria St close to Wall of fame. You cant miss the signs!!!
Come in and check it out. Know that this little store was made for all of you with love, and that every dollar earned goes to making the world a better place for our most vulnerable local cats and dogs.

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to give you an update.
Last week my husband passed away. It was completely unexpected and I had to drop everything to make arrangements while grieving...
Over the next few weeks my assistant Joni will be reaching out to you all as best as she can to make arrangements for grooming. When I do come back to work it will only be 2 or 3 appointments per day as I slowly start getting on with life.
I truly appreciate everyone's patience during this time. I have told Joni that I have wonderful relationships with each and every one of you that I've have gotten to know through your dogs and cats... she has told me that you have all been so understanding and I cant tell you how much that means to me.

I just wanted to write this note to let you all know that I am currently dealing with a family emergency. My assistant will work hard to get as many of you rebooked as possible. If you are unable to wait you certainly can reach out to other groomers in the meantime.
Im sorry for the short notice, but at this time my family needs to come first.

I'm delighted to announce that my business has outgrown my solo capabilities ☺️. Don't worry, I'm not abandoning ship; I'm just bringing in some reinforcements. With a growing client base, I've hired an awesome booking assistant to keep everything purring smoothly. If you're a regular client, expect a message from my assistant, who'll be asking some general info about your pets and contact details to make future bookings a breeze.
