Hi Prince George,

We’ve just discovered our fifth parvo‑positive puppy, and our team is stretched to the limit—emotionally, physically, and financially. Parvo treatment is intensive, costly, and urgent, but we refuse to give up on these little ones.

We’re turning to this amazing community because you’ve always shown up when it mattered most. Whether it’s donations, supplies, sharing our post, or simply sending encouragement, every bit of support helps us keep fighting for these puppies.

We are looking for donations of;
blankets and towels,
bleach,
laundry soap,
paper towel,
garbage bags,
enrichment toys and slow feeders for dogs
(we also need kitten food, unrelated to the parvo)

Hi everyone! My name is Sarah Whitehawk, and I’m the owner of HAND & PAW.

HAND & PAW was created out of a lifelong love for animals and a belief that pet care should always be calm, patient, and built on trust. I am Indigenous, originally from Cote First Nation in Saskatchewan, and animals have been a constant source of comfort and connection throughout my life. After moving to Prince George, I began volunteering with the Humane Society and other local organizations because I missed having animals in my daily life. That experience along with years of animal ownership inspired me to start HAND & PAW.
