We’ve had quite a few people reach out asking about starting their own dog boarding or daycare business here on PEI — and wondering if our property at Camp Good Dogs could be the perfect fit.

The short answer? Absolutely. There’s a huge need for quality dog daycare and boarding on the Island, especially along the Central Coast. It’s been an honour to care for so many amazing dogs here, and we’d love to see this peaceful spot continue to be a safe, happy space for pets.

Thank you so much to everyone who has shared the post of our little slice of heaven. It means the world to us, and we’re hopeful this home finds someone with a heart for pets and a dream for their own business.

🏡 Big news from our family at Camp Good Dogs — after a lot of reflection (and plenty of tears), we’ve made the tough but heartfelt decision to list our beautiful PEI home for sale.

This place has been more than just a house — it’s been the heart of our family and the foundation of Camp Good Dogs. From quiet evenings in the hot tub under the stars to cozy nights by the fire, this property has given us so much joy, peace, and space to welcome dogs into our Camp Good Dogs world.

We’ll miss this North Shore gem more than words can say — the woods, the trails, the peace, and of course, the incredible community that’s embraced us and our little dog family.

If you know someone dreaming of a private, peaceful retreat here on PEI — one surrounded by nature, with endless possibilities — send them our way. The property has a beautiful secondary building that’s perfect for running a small business, whether it’s for pets or people. We’d love nothing more than to see it in the hands of someone with a heart for animals, just like ours.

We’re so grateful to have found Hannah at WolfPack Doggie Services years ago when she started out. Having a groomer who is attentive, patient, professional and only uses positive reinforcement is critical for us as pet owners. She has been so wonderful in working around Riley’s health and her surgical areas and is flexible to meet our needs.

We’re decking the halls AND the bowls this Christmas! Every year each camper staying with us gets pampered with their very own festive barkuterie board—crafted with love, locally sourced ingredients, and a sprinkle of holiday cheer. 🌟🍖🐾

Watching these boards get engulfed (faster than Santa down the chimney!) is our favorite holiday tradition. 🎅❤️ Thanks to and Riverview Country Market and Cafe for the blueberries!

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who served to protect the freedoms we cherish. 🇨🇦 Their sacrifices remind us of the importance of unity, peace, and standing together as a nation.

Canada has long been a leader in international law and human rights, playing a vital role in building a more just and peaceful world. At home, we must reflect those same values. Let’s not allow discord or hateful rhetoric to divide us or make us believe our country is anything less than strong and compassionate. The only ones who benefit from a divided Canada are those seeking to destabilize us.

We are stronger together—people of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds, and beliefs. Peace isn’t just the absence of war; it’s the commitment to working together, respecting one another, and building a future worthy of those who fought for it.
