While we remember those who served in the past, it’s important to remember that animals continue to suffer in wars around the world today.

In Gaza, donkeys are still used for transportation, often targeted or caught in crossfire.
In Ukraine, countless dogs, cats, and farm animals are being injured by bombs, land mines, or starving as war rages around them.

Conflict doesn’t just hurt humans, it hurts the innocent animals who share our world. Let’s keep them in our thoughts, and continue to be a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.

I have been practicing all your suggestions with him every day we walk. It is truly amazing what we have accomplished once you taught me the logistics of humans and dogs. You are quite knowledgeable and experienced in training. I see things totally different in my approach with handling Django being a reactive dog. Letting him know that I am in control and the “leader” of our pack has worked very well.
And not passing my fears and anxiety on to him.
Right from our first walk after talking to you and learning “MY” roll, our walks have been so much better, and we haven’t even got to the point of working with you yet...l very much appreciate all you have done for us so far...and I just want to thank you...I look forward to showing off what Django and I have accomplished...Thank you, Lorrine Gordon and Django

Meet Meekah, the newest little lovebug at Puca’s Pack! 💛

This 16-month-old sweetheart has been with us for just over a week, and she’s already stolen my heart and every other heart she’s met. Meekah has bounced around quite a bit, but she’s finally landed in safe hands. Now we’re hoping to find her a forever home as soon as possible.

Meekah’s fantastic with other dogs, good with cats, and has lived with young children (whom she absolutely adored). Meekah is crate-trained, house-trained, and well-mannered. She’s learning to walk nicely on leash and her recall improves with every adventure we take. She’s incredibly food-motivated, making her a fun and easy girl to train. Her sits are coming along but still need a little work to stay in the command.

What Meekah needs most is a family willing to build a loving and trusting relationship with her. She’s still learning to look to people for guidance, but with her gentle loving nature that connection will come easily.

Currently she’s being treated for some skin irritation that’s already improving, once she’s fully healed, she’ll be spayed. As you can see she loves wearing jackets, which is great cause it’s keeping her skin covered and warm. She’s been a total gem for her vet visits and has shown us that she is an easy dog to handle. Meekah is the perfect fit for first-time dog owners or anyone looking for a cuddly, easygoing companion who just wants to be loved.

Burnout is real, especially for those who give their hearts for others.

Whether you’re a trainer, teacher, nanny, healthcare worker, etc., the constant focus on the wellbeing of others can quietly take a toll. We pour so much of our energy into healing, guiding, and supporting that we often forget to refill our own cup. But the truth is, we can’t show up fully for others when we’re running on empty. Taking time to rest, set boundaries, and recharge isn’t selfish, it’s essential. The animals and people who depend on us deserve our best, and that starts with us caring for ourselves first.

I have not been prioritizing my needs the last few weeks and have therefore hit a wall. I will not be working past 7 PM for the next few weeks (this includes messages, phone calls, and behaviour training). Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but I need to be able to decompress when I’m home and not glued to my phone answering people.

Thanks everyone! Stay happy and healthy!
