What a weekend to remember! From 36 being the slowest of the season to ending with a 20.65 at rawhide rodeo, I’d say we’ve come such a long way! We have one more rodeo in October in wasaga beach ! You’ll catch us at Ram rodeo! What a great year it has been for us with some up & downs but I’m one happy girl & to be the trainer of this horse we’ve been working out quirks and fixing some things, I’m incredibly proud of us sitting 12th all weekend at Smoke N Spurs. Thank you & for the most incredible weekend!

Chevy is a 8 year old 15:2 quarter horse.
This kills me to even post, Chevy is my heart man. And he will ONLY go to the BEST home.

Chevy is a very special horse but due to an injury and having too much time off myself I have lost a confidence, and he needs confident. I have had him for an only a year, and am In love.

Chevy came to me from a harsh background and so he was completely restarted. He has been brought in for barrels, and has AMAZING barrel papers. He loves his job. He is NOT a finished barrel horse. But he has came along amazing. He has lots of training under his belt with me.

That being said, he is untrusting of new people. It takes him a good while to come around to new people. But when he trusts you, he is in your pocket best friend. He is not a have multiple people jump on and ride around. He does have an attitude when he is unsure. That being said I have had multiple people have their first rides on him and he takes great care of them.

He requires ground work for awhile before new people hop on him. He needs to get to know you and trust you. For that reason. As he has had a few months off due to my injury I am not comfortable with new people trying him unless he is in work. ( always welcome to come view him) if he is in work at that time absolutely come hop on him.

When in work he can make a wonderful clean 16 second barrel run.

He is proven in hand classes and showmanship winning almost every class he was entered in this summer.

This horse is an amazing horse.

He is blind in his right eye due to a reason from before I bought him. Does NOT affect him at all.

He is completely sound.
UTD on all medical care

What an amazing weekend! We went to our very 2nd over night show, & he did absolutely phenomenal! Nothing fazes this horse anymore he’s so willing & has the biggest heart❤️ we had a fun weekend with the crew I’m thankful for the barn family! We place in the top 6 for barrels & top 4 for dash all weekend long😁 very proud trainer of this guy we’re getting somewhere !

Barrel racing isn’t easy & it never will be, take ur time, your not running on a clock & forget those who aren’t behind you, haters will hate. I promise you success comes with time & I understand time can be money. But don’t rush something that’s not meant to be rushed, your a baddie & keep doing you. You’ll get to where you want to be❤️

Do not compare yourself. There is only this moment, this horse. Your hands, seat, voice and leg, define the parameters of the entire world for this horse.

What anyone else is doing, or has ever done, does NOT matter.
Whomever it is that you look up to — or feel less than —
Is in turn, looking up to another rider, wishing to aspire to that level. So be content where you are… You are blessed!

YOU are your only competition… Just be better today than you were yesterday. Try hard for this horse you ride and try hard for yourself. Most of all, enjoy this time; Every moment. Every stride. Every cue that is answered with a response.
