Dear valued clients,

It is with deep sadness I announce the closing of Maplebruxe Grooming. This decision was not made lightly but unfortunately I need to relocate due to personal reasons. I have turned off the online booking as I will no longer be accepting new appointments but will honor those appointments currently booked. I really appreciate your business and trusting me with your pets over these last 2 years. I've met alot of amazing people and dogs here and will miss every single one.
I have spoken to another groomer in the area that I recommend and she has agreed to help with this transition and take on my Maplebruxe clients.

Well I think I've gotten back to all of the messages from the past week, Ive double checked them all and if I've missed anyone I apologize!
I have a few last minute openings tomorrow if anyone still needs a grooming before the weekend, I'll be away Saturday and Sunday and towards the end of next week as well.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!
I'm just getting back from Holidays today and will start resposonding to calls and messages thruout the day. Please be patient as a have a ton of messages to respond to from the last 5 days being away. The online booking is still always open for anyone who wishes to book right away, people can see what's available and pick their appointment on the spot. Messages take more time because we have to wait for responses from each side and go back and forth with dates/times and wait for replies before booking something, so I just ask that people who prefer to message please be patient as it does take more time to book this way.

I am now closed for holidays until next Tuesday as I am involved in the Elgin County Kennel Club dog show where our Northern Ontario Boxer Club is holding its annual specialty show💗
I will be returning messages as time allows and the online booking is always available if I don't respond right away.

With the extreme heat warning in effect over the next few days and the hot summer that we've already had I wanted to take a minute and talk about heat exhaustion in dogs. We need to remember to be extra mindful of the heat and the effect it has on dogs particularly the brachycephellic breeds, double coated breeds and young/senior pets. Please don't walk dogs in extreme heat or on hot concrete and please don't leave them in a car not even for a second. Always be watchful for signs of exhaustion and always have water available. *If heat stroke is suspected in a dog please call your veterinarian immediately*
