After a long hiatus, things are getting going again, but in a different direction... while we intend to do some minor breeding and showing, our focus has changed from producing show winning stock to working closely with a meat breeder to rehome small breeds she has acquired as terminal culls. She performs an initial temperament test, and those who pass are turned over to me to further evaluate, quarantine and then rehome to suitable homes. Currently our herd of personal rabbits includes a tri Holland lop doe and a Vienna lionhead doe (relating back to my original lines). Our rescue herd includes 2 Holland bucks from the food trade, a Holland buck we hoped to keep but who isn't happy in our herd, a lionhead doe from the food trade, an Angora rescued from starvation in October who is still in recovery, and 7 kits also from the food trade. Please keep an eye on our page for a more formal update!!
