Best friends Pumpkin and Duncan are STILL looking for their forever family.

Shy, gentle, ginger girls, they require a quiet home with kind, patient owners willing to give them lots of time to feel safe. Both are fine with cats, dogs and children but are independent kitties who prefer the company of each other, a warm bed, toys and a full bowl of food. They also love being petted once they feel safe.

Pumpkin and Duncan have been in foster care for many, many months. They are more than ready to settle in a forever home with a special family. One that is excited to meet the “shy ones” where they are. To let them be who they need to be, to love them and provide a safe, warm home. To see past the fun loving kittens and recognize that cats like Pumpkin and Duncan, who have had rough lives outside fighting for food and shelter, finding comfort only in each other, are no less deserving of a happily ever after.

Spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. 3-5 years old. Viral negative.

ARTHUR NEEDS A PERMANENT HOME ASAP!

ARTHUR must leave his current home ASAP, and we are hoping he can move to his forever home, rather than going to another temporary home and having to learn the new layout there..... He really needs a home with someone around most of the time - a homebody working from home or someone just newly retired. Thanks for caring and sharing!

ARTHUR UPDATE!

The blind 10-year-old cat ARTHUR, who we had rescued with his family when he was a kitten, adopted out 10 years ago and who was recently just returned to our care with a severe eye infection - has now finally finished his medications no longer has an eye infection. Unfortunately for poor ARTHUR, because of a congenital defect where his eye balls are too small, that leaves space in his eye socket for debris / dust / etc to collect - which will constantly cause infections for him. We will see how long he is able to go to go until next infection, but his adopter needs to know that this will be recurring for him. There were lots of people initially interested in giving him a home, but they have all vanished. :( ARTHUR is still in urgent need of a home. He can leave the vet clinic today after receiving his medications, but has nowhere to go..... 😢 Please, if you have a small uncluttered space and don't change things around in your home frequently, please consider providing a home to this sweet affectionate boy in need..... 🙏

EXPERIENCED CAT LOVER DESPERATELY NEEDED!!! 💕

Let's have a chat about this handsome hulk of a guy. You may recognize him from a previous unboxing live. This is David. 😻

He is a unique little soul in a big kitty body who just really wants to find his purr-fect purr-son.

David was captured outside on Lillian's front porch with a pretty sore eye in need of surgery (thank you, OAS for helping him out! 😻) He was unneutered & seen as a stray for a few years. He had trust issues with people (who doesn't?) & took a few tries to trap successfully.

David LOVES to be snuggled & has begun to figure out how to play with his wand toys. His favourite hang out is the grey bed seen in the pictures (stolen from Toe Beans. 😹) He comes when called & responds to vocal commands really easily (Smart guy! All those years of surviving on the street taught him well.) He is the first one to greet you when you come home & will for sure eat you out of house & home (He has to keep that magnificent figure of his in tip top shape! 😹)

But here's the thing: David bites. He still doesn't quite understand how to interact with hoomans properly & gets protective of his food & bed. He needs someone willing to work with him through this & show him that he no longer has to fight for what is his. We promise, you will be rewarded with the most amazing big hulk of a best friend with an even bigger heart full of love.

David is approx 3yo, utd on vaccinations, neutered & healthy. He NEEDS a quiet, adult only, no other pet home with a LOT of previous behavioural cat experience. Foster homes welcome as well.

He is worth the time & effort if only someone had it to give him. Is that you?

If it is not, PLEASE SHARE far & wide. We MUST get this boy a home as soon as possible. He can't stay where he is much longer (he is NOT at Toe Beans but IS under our care.)

Gracie and Gizmo are a bonded pair looking for a new home due to an unfortunate situation. They are sweet and calm, house and crate trained, young and fully vetted. Gizmo is a 1 year old Chihuahua Terrier mix (7 lbs.), and Gracie is a 3 year old Shih Tzu mix, perhaps Lhasa Apso (27 lbs).
Their arrival date is now undetermined but they will not be separated under any circumstances. They have already lost everything they know.
Please send us a message if you are looking for a ready made family.
They do need a fenced property, are good with other dogs after a few initial grumbles, will chase cats and no history with children, but are sweet and gentle so older, dog savvy children should be fine.
Gizmo is a 3-year-old Shih tzu mix and Gracie is a 1-year Chi / Terrie Mix and are a very loving bonded pair. Gizmo loves to go on walks and lay on your legs or feet and always has a smile on this face. He loves to be groomed! Gracie is a total Velcro dog and wants to be always near you as well as under the covers.

Gizmo and Gracie are a whole lot of love and silliness all in one! Gizmo loves to sit pretty and give high fives for treats! He loves his butt and chest scratched and loves to lay on his side and kick and show off when you tell him he is being crazy ! He loves to run laps out in the yard! He enjoys looking out the window and laying at his humans feet and legs when napping or going to bed! Gracie loves to play! I call her a hyena when she gets to playing with her brother Gizmo she sounds like one! She loves her toys! She loves her humans and lots of hugs and definitely big on giving kisses! She is a ball of energy and fun! She definitely loves to be under the cover with her human! She will argue with you when you tell her no 😊. Gizmo and Gracie love each other and do not like to be separated! They love to be clean and looking sharp! Gizmo does not like his back feet messed with and Gracie does not like to get tangled in anything especially her leash she gets a little crazy. But they are the most loving joyful fun babies I have ever known! They will win your heart forever and give you a lifetime of love and laughter!

When our kittens go to the adoption centre they find homes almost immediately. Their little paws hardly touch the pen. If you are considering adding a kitty to your family, please consider the older cats that are available. If you don't you are missing out on a whole lot of love.
