The 5th Annual SSASO Diva’s of the Dock K9 Fun Zone was a perfect day !💦🐕🐶

We had repeat teams , brand new teams , all breeds , gorgeous weather, and love of the sport .

Those who take part know the story behind SSASO’s Diva of the Docks and my favourite category obviously is the Northern Breed Category.

This years winner of Northern Breed is Team Phantom 👏🙌💙

Huge Congratulations are in order. This team had a goal since last years event and worked very hard in achieving it . They sought out lessons with Al owner of K9 Fun Zone , traveling to practice , had challenges, super awesome breakthroughs, some set backs , but never gave up !!

Congratulations Team Phantom on your accomplishments and one kick ass well deserved rosette ! Diva is smiling from the Dock in the sky 🦋

We are super proud of one of The Cupboard's Team, Lillie & Chris!

This Team as worked hard to bond and train in the sport of UKC Elite Shed Hunt. Brand new to the Sport and only their 2nd Trial, they achieved some pretty cool results together this past weekend at the Georgian Bay Shed Dog Trial in Midland, Ontario.

Lille had two passes and a 3rd place podium win on the Friday, also first time travelling and motel stay. I would say we are all proud of Team Lillie, Congratulations on a great weekend!!!

Look forward to watching you grow and excel in the upcoming trials. Only 2 more passes needed to achieve their UKC Elite Shed Dog Working Title.

June 4th , K9 Fun Zone Dog House League Starts up once again. Wednesdays at 6pm . Long Jump & Speed Retrieve . Open Dock Practice 5pm .

New to the sport ?

Introduction to Dock Jumping- starting Saturday May 3, 2025 at 12pm. Dogs must be 6 months of age to jump from dock , younger dogs worked from ramp only.
