Raven Update ❤️

We are so happy to share that Raven continues to improve every single day. This little fighter has a ravenous appetite and is back to her happy-go-lucky self, soaking up love and showing us that sweet personality we all fell in love with.

After everything she’s been through, seeing her bounce back like this truly feels like a gift. We are beyond grateful to the incredible team at the Ontario Veterinary College for giving her that chance.

Now we need your help to get her over the finish line.

❤️🐾 RAVEN UPDATE 🐾❤️

Raven had a truly frightening setback.

Her stitches gave way, causing her bladder to leak urine into her abdomen — a life-threatening situation that required immediate emergency surgery. She was rushed to OVC in Guelph, where the team repaired the tear and flushed her abdomen to remove dangerous toxins and bacteria.

She’s been through so much in such a short time… poked, prodded, and fighting every step of the way.

And now? She’s a completely different dog.

Her appetite is back, her tail is wagging, and our sweet, happy girl has returned. SHE’S BACK HOME!

Raven has been given more chances than most…. and she’s not wasting a single one!! This was all possible because of this incredible community, our volunteers, and every single person who supports what we do.

Together, we made this happen. ❤️ 🙏

We are far from our goal to recoup after this surgery. We will continue to work to raise funds so that we can continue to help dogs like Raven. This is not just rescue work… it’s a passion that drives everything we do.
