The top two spots were locked down from beginning to end: Tacoma was #1 every week and Vancouver was #2 every week. Tacoma closed the season with 6,230.0 points to take the pennant. The battle behind them saw Abbotsford make the biggest move, jumping from 8th after Week 1 and eventually securing 3rd. Congratulations to Tacoma — Summer 2026 Pacific Northwest Division Champions! 🏆

INTRODUCING🥁🥁🥁SCOUT!!!

Scout joined us this season for his first intro into disc and dog sports!

From his handler Sam: “Scout is a 4yr old Flat Coat Retriever mix who is hopped up on life and raring to go learning the field! New to sports, Scout is still adjusting himself to the game, but having fun along the way! He’s a happy, fun loving and excitable boy whos here to have some fun!”

Scout has been nothing but a bundle of joy thus far! He is the happiest dog, and he seems to love the field! Sam is doing such a great job teaching him the game and I have no doubt this team will accomplish great things. We are so happy to have you two here 💙

It’s about time I formally introduce myself!

Hi! I’m Ali, and to the team I am known as the captain behind the scenes. I first played TnF with South Nanaimo with my boyfriend’s dog Fisher. After 1 season, I decided I wanted to try and start a team in Port Alberni so I didn’t have to commute so far. With the help of friends, the south Nanaimo team, and a finding some people in town, Alberni Valley Toss N Fetch was born.

The last 4 seasons have been nothing short of a dream come true. A local dog sport safe for ALL dogs and welcoming to all people. My own dog, Danny, is very reactive, so it was important to me to foster a community that could create a safe place for him, and all other dogs that struggle in busy environments, to play the game.

The players that joined are nothing less than amazing. These people are kind, generous & always welcoming to new players. They truly have made my dreams come true.

It is with both heartache and gratitude that I leave this team for the next 6 months. I’m heading off to school in Cranbrook. I am so proud of the people who have stepped up to take on my role while I am away, and I am grateful the seasons will still run for the dogs who benefit so much from this weekly play day.

I will be back in March! But for now, I hand over the team to bowie_the_redtriaussie & Turbo + Lyra + Christie 🤍 These will be our first co-captains, and I have no doubt they will do an amazing job 🫶🏻

INTRODUCING🥁🥁🥁 BANJO!!!

Banjo is joining us with his handler Britlyn! He is a rescue mixed breed from Manitoba and he’s just over 1 year old. Banjo is new to the world of dog-sports with disc being his first. Outside of disc this pup loves to swim, hike, and explore the back country with his pawrents. Britlyn says he just wants to be where his people are. He’s both toy and food motivated & this guy loves to learn! He was also at our Updog seminar a few weeks ago and absolutely killed it!

We are so happy to have this team join us 💙

INTRODUCING 🥁🥁🥁 JASPER!!!

From Jasper’s handler Jenn: “Jasper is a 1.5 year old, supermutt from Mexico. He’s a quirky, funny, crazy little guy who wants to just go but doesn’t fully trust the world yet. He is easily distracted by a good sniff, but loves zoomies, playing frisbee and football, forest walks, and anything that involves food, including many tricks. The way to his heart is obviously through food and playing!”

Jasper has played 2 days so far and he is the most fun little guy! We can’t wait to watch this guy grow🩵
