Göran Kropp, an adventurer from Sweden, completed one of the most extreme self-powered expeditions ever recorded. He cycled from Sweden all the way to Nepal with all his gear, then climbed Mount Everest completely solo without sherpas or supplemental oxygen. After reaching the summit and returning safely to base camp, he got back on his bike and pedaled the entire journey home. His achievement remains one of the boldest demonstrations of endurance, self reliance, and human determination in modern mountaineering history.
