‘Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the barn, all the creatures were sleeping, all safe, snug, and warm.

The feed pails were hung by the stall doors with care, in hopes that Saint Nicholas would soon be there.

The ponies were nestled all warm in their beds, while visions of carrot cakes danced in their heads. The quarter horses, the thoroughbreds, and even the Apps, the jumpers and hunters were all taking naps.

When out in the paddocks there arose such a clatter, Mister sprang up from the ground to see what was the matter,
Away to the stall doors, the horses flew like a flash, poked their heads out and nickered unabashed. What to the wondering eyes of those ponies should appear? But a miniature sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer.

The ponies knew at that moment that it must be St. Nik. More rapid then Eagles, St. Nik called them by name,
It’s ok Georgia, Merlin, Jasper, and Jazz, to the top of the hay loft, to the top of each stall, the ponies received hay, biscuits, apples, carrots and all. 🥕

He spoke not another word, but went straight to work, he rolled all the polos and turned with a jerk.

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, and away they all flew like the down of a thistle. The ponies all watched as they rode out of sight,

“Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!”
