We specialize in riding lessons for all ages as well as camps and horse shows. Pickering Horse Centre is Durham region's premier equestrian facility, conveniently bordering Pickering, Ajax & Claremont. Our facility has six large outdoor riding rings, an indoor heated riding arena and an air conditioned/heated club room. We have a wide range of experienced horses that participate in our lesson program year round and are suitable for all levels of riders.

The Trilogy Series is a fun, low-pressure schooling show series designed to develop horses and riders in both dressage and show jumping. Compete in both phases on the same day for a combined test, or enter just dressage or just jumping — whatever works for you and your horse. Going forward, the leadline and beginner divisions will be running in the south ring 🐴

The move will help our shows run more smoothly - keeping both rings moving efficiently throughout the day so everyone gets in and out on time.

What an incredible day we had at our OE Show last Sunday! ✨🐴

A huge thank you to all of our riders, coaches, parents, staff, officials, and sponsors for making the day such a success. It was amazing to see so much incredible horsemanship, sportsmanship, and teamwork both in and out of the ring.

We are so proud of everyone who competed and helped create such a positive and supportive atmosphere. Thank you all for making it such a memorable day — we can’t wait for the next one! 💖

A huge thank you to all of our competitors and coaches for making our May Schooling Show such a success!

We were treated to great competition, beautiful weather, and a fantastic turnout with record breaking numbers for our first show.☀️🏆

We’re so grateful for this amazing community! 🧡

That said, due to low entries, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel our May Hunter Derby. We truly appreciate everyone’s continued support of our 2026 horse shows.

We’re hopeful to see those numbers grow so we can run our next Derby Challenge on July 26th - mark your calendars! 🗓️
