The hardest goodbyes…
Toby gave his mom fourteen beautiful years, and I had the privilege of sharing three of those with them. He was a true gentleman — easygoing, steady, and always present.

Thank you, Toby, for giving me the best of your golden years and for teaching me new forms of patience and compassion.

You were the goodest boy — a perfect example of a dog being woman’s best friend.

Run free, sweet boy. You were so very loved.

Meet B (Blarney!)

we started working together shortly after his parents brought him home and wanted to establish a consistent routine during those early puppy stages.

At first, we were more focused on lunch time feedings, bathroom breaks and building a positive relationship through lots of play - to tucking him back into crate for a nap.

Today we focus a lot of our attention into our walks - working on handler engagement, redirecting, recalling, while burning some extra puppy energy.

Blarney is still young and intact making him a little extra curious, playful and occasionally cheeky too - so routine and following through with consistency is important to help him better understand expectations.

can’t wait to watch to social butterfly flourish!

meet Jabba (named after the great Jabba the Hunt)

we started working together shortly after his dad adopted Jabba. Jabba already had a good foundation set up by the rescue, and his adopters - including crate training!!

Jabba and I started off slow and worked together to build our relationship, working on trust and communication. Jabbas food motivation has been the key factor in our relationship, (I mean, who doesn’t love a good snack!)

From backyard visits, to front yard drills, we now often walk the neighbourhood in a heel (with an unlimited amount of sniff time) to our local dog park.. where we actually never physically enter the dog park. Wild right!? Outside of the park we work on our engagement, impulse control, recall and confidence. And when new challenges arise it’s communicated and worked on.

It’s important to note that Jabbas dad also takes the time to train with and work with Jabba outside our walks!

meet Mish (mission)!

we started working together shortly after his parents brought him home. They had already set themselves up for success with crate training, along with years of experience from their first.

our visits started out as puppy lunch time feedings and bathroom breaks, to walks where we implement socializations, confidence building as well as impulse control with recall and auto sits. However it’s Important to note that Missions human implement the above in their daily routines and often things come easy to Mission - our biggest challenge to date is his curious nose and eagerness to explore.

I’m excited I get to watch this boy flourish into one stunning gentlemen and support his humans where needed.
