I think we may need to do another one of these impromptu mini trials! This was a lot of fun! Thanks to judge Pierre Lalonde for his 4 fast and challenging Masters Snooker courses… with impressive results! 20 Qs out of 36 runs - plus 2 titles. Congratulations to Grace and Zeira on their Expert Snookers Bronze. And Revel eked out his Master Snooker Dog of Canada.

2026 Trials booked!
BADogs will be hosting a 1 day trial on Sunday June 28 featuring all levels: 1 Gamble, 1 Standard, 1 Jumpers, 1 Snooker and 1 Steeplechase run. Judges: Laurie Keith & Pierre Lalonde. The Premium List will be posted late Spring 2026.

BADogs is especially pleased to announce that Denise Reid Clarke from Edmonton, AB will be our esteemed judge for our September 4, 5, 6 and 7 trial. Friday evening will feature 2 Team Relay runs. Saturday and Sunday will include 2 Standard, 2 Gambles, 1 Snooker, 1 Jumpers, plus Biathlon Agility and Biathlon Jumpers with Weaves. And Monday will be a partial day with 1 Standard, Steeplechase and 1 Jumpers run. The Premium List and entry will be posted in Summer 2026.

Now that we're all rested from the weekend trial (lol), BADogs has some more good news! Numerous handlers mentioned they wished we had offered more Snooker classes. So, after some quick communication with the AAC we are happy to announce we're going to host a Masters Mini Snooker trial on Tuesday September 30th. The Premium List and Entry Form will be forthcoming once details are sorted out. We acknowledge this is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and invite handlers to wear an Orange Shirt.

This trial wouldn’t have been any success without our Judge-Extraordinaire, Jonathan Luce who provided us with fun, challenging and even exciting courses! And in his modest and humorous way, accepted full responsibility for providing all those titles and Qs! But seriously, Jonathan was a wonderful judge inside and out of the ring with his friendly and supportive presence. Thank you!

Our first trial of the year resulted in some new records: 84 Q’s and 21 titles, including one Lifetime Achievement and 4 (Yes, FOUR!) ATChC Awards!
