As a registered veterinary technician with 18 years experience in small animal health care I'm proud to announce I'm re-opening my schedule for in-home medication administration for local pets in Peterborough by referral from your veterinarian's office. I'm also updating my education to include animal hospice and palliative care techniques, and am happy to assist clients who are looking for additional support after receiving a diagnosis of terminal illness for their beloved pet.
It's always been a great honour of mine to serve the pets of Peterborough and their families, and I will continue to offer the utmost compassionate care to all new pets in my care.

It is with utmost gratitude that I must announce I'm putting a close to my pet sitting business after 8 wonderful years. As I prepare to welcome the birth of my third child, I'm reflecting on all of the incredible pets and people I've been gifted the opportunity to care for over the lifespan of Paws Up! Professional Pet Care. I've known and cared for many pets up until their final days, and this has granted me the opportunity to recognize the importance of a new pursuit in my professional development as a Registered Veterinary Technician. While I build up my chops as a mother now, I'm also building up my professional education with a specialization in Animal Palliative and Hospice care. I look forward to forging new business relationships with the DVMs in our community who also share a special pull in their souls towards honouring the end-of-life stages of our most beloved furry family members in the comfort and security of their own homes.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to every client, vet, tech and clinic support staff who have encouraged and supported me with referrals and connections to the best pets in Peterborough and the Kawarthas! It's been my privilege to work for and with you all. Paws up!!!

Just a boy and his bacon ball 😋 Mosby is such a fun loving pup who always greets me with a wagging tail and happy tappy feet when I arrive for his mid day play time. He's a sweet country pooch with a sparkle in his eye and even our goodbyes are nice as he gets to settle back inside with a toy filled with one of his favourite treats, peanut butter! Love you Mister Mosby. Paws up!

Oti Oti Oti!!! I usually only see this handsome boy for nail trims but had the joy of spending 2 nice day visits with him this week. I think he appreciated the time spent cuddling and relaxing too. Paws up!

I'm so thrilled to reconnect with this kitty who I used to sleepover pet sit. Now I administer subcutaneous fluid doses for him weekly to help support his wellbeing through kidney disease. Today I administered his fluids while giving him cuddles on his porch. Thanks to his owner's dedicated love and care Phuket thoroughly enjoys his days (and his treats!) Paws up!

Such a joy to get to care for this princess again. Kenai 😻 Sweet Kenai gets daily insulin injections for diabetes and has such a good routine with her mom that keeps her stable, happy and living in the lap of luxury with the best seat in the house to watch the birds. She also enjoys a good sip from the bathroom tap. Cheers Kenai and Paws Up!

Paws up, folks!
I hope everyone has been keeping in good health and enjoying more quality time at home as we all welcome the warmer weather and work through the impacts of the recent Covid19 pandemic.

Your pets have no doubt been enjoying all of your attention with so many businesses ordered to shut down or work from home for the past few months. I've been missing them too! 🐾

Pet sitters are now being given the green light to go back to work and with that I'd like to remind all old and new clients that I am available for dog walks, cat sits and medication administration as needed over the coming summer months.

Lots of cozy cuddles and time spent enjoying the summer sunshine at home and around the neighbourhood with this diverse family of furry cuties. Sadie to PugX insists that it's only fair to pet both her and her brother Jeff at the same time with the same hand. They're all looking forward to welcoming mom and dad home from vacation soon. Paws up, gang!

Paws up folks! In case you're wondering, I walk dogs in all weather. I bring rain gear and layers to all my visits so your pups will get outside for their daily exercise and p*e breaks regardless of what the forecast has in mind. It's also greatly appreciated if you keep a towel by your door for puppy paw clean up on rainy or snowy days! 🐾

Meet Zeus! This 5 month old St.Bernard pup is all smiles and paws - a real gentle giant that still has a whole lot of growing to do! With his harness on he is a total star walker. I love seeing how much he's grown every time I visit. Paws up Zeus!
