Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks 😉
I spent today attending a skin and coat seminar presented by Chantal Hunt, a Groom Team Canada member huge source of knowledge on K9 skin and coat health.
It was actually my second time attending this seminar because it is so jam packed with information to help our clients be as happy and healthy as they can be!
Grooming is an unregulated industry, meaning anyone can call themselves a professional and charge groom peoples pets. This seminar highlights the importance of product knowledge as well as other health and safety protocols that can really make a difference between doing what is best for the animals in our care….and not 😕.
I’m excited to share my knowledge with the whole PSBB team and all of you!

We are so grateful for the generosity you’ve shown our kittens this year. Kitten season has been busier than ever, and every can of food you’ve donated has helped us keep up with the constant need.

With dozens of tiny mouths to feed in foster homes and at the shelter — and new arrivals every week — our shelves are once again running low on wet kitten food.

If you’re able to pick up a few cans on your next grocery or pet supply run, it would mean the world to us.

Donations can be dropped off at 1999 Technology Drive during open hours, or you can choose items from our online wishlist and have them shipped straight to us.

Every can helps a kitten grow stronger, healthier, and closer to their forever home.

Thank you for always showing up for them. We couldn’t do this without you! ❤️

It’s hard to believe that it has been 15 years since I took a giant leap and opened the doors to Pet Styling by Becki. My now 16 year old son was just a toddler and I was a newlywed myself. I had so much to learn about running a business and life in general but with a lot of hard work and determination, everything fell in place. I have built an amazing team of 10 professionals and together, we offer Peterborough’s pets and their families a quality of care that I am truly proud of.

Although there have been challenges that led to huge personal growth, what a blessing this journey has been. This picture was taken 12 years and sent to me this week by Maggie’s mom after her groom. I have been thinking a lot about all the animals who we have loved like our own over the years and how each of them have left their paw prints on our hearts.

I don’t say it enough, but I am endlessly grateful to my family, this community, my staff and especially all of our clients. Thank you 🥂 ❤️ 🐾

NEW CLIENTS - We want to show you how awesome we are but we can only do that if you show up for your appointment. The rate of no shows for brand new clients is much higher than our amazing regular clients so unfortunately, this new policy is necessary to avoid unnecessary downtime in our schedule. We provide text and email reminders as a complementary service to all of our clients so please be courteous and give us at least 24 hours notice if you can’t make your appointment.
