Good morning everyone! The weather forecast doesn't look kind for the next few days, so it's time for a Pet Safety Announcement!

Our pets are just as susceptible to the dangers of a heatwave as we are. Take a look at the included images for some heat wave reminders, signs of heat stroke in your pets, and what to do if you notice signs of heat stroke.

Our pets rely on us for their health and safety, so make sure you're taking all the necessary precautions to protect them from weather related danger 😊

Try these tips for keeping your pets cool and hydrated this summer!

🐶: Keep pets hydrated while on the go with the convenience of a collap-SIP-ble bowl. To encourage sips on hot days, add bone broth ice cubes. Monitor for signs of dehydration such as excessive panting and dry nose (and opt for a quiet time cool down).

🐱: Take hydration to the next level with moist treats. Lickable treats offered straight from the pouch as a popsicle or bone broth, goat milk slushies made to order in kitty’s favourite dish.

Thinking about bringing your dog out on the boat? Or looking to give them a boost of confidence in the water? Make sure to drop by and pick up a life jacket for your sweet fur baby!

Life jackets are the best way to keep your pet safe while they're in the water, especially if they get too excited and hop off the boat. They are also a simple solution to help your dog build confidence in their swimming skills if they're nervous going into the water.

Like any wearable item, we always strongly encourage our devoted pet lovers to bring their pooch in store to find the perfect fit (*cough and so we can pet them and give them a treat cough* 👀), but if that's not possible, bring the following measurements with you; your pet's approximate weight, the length of their back from the base of their neck to the base of their tail, the measurement around their rib cage, and the measurement around their neck 😁

The warm weather is here, and we can't wait to help our customers make the best of it!
