🎉 We’re buzzing here as we gear up for our 2-day conferences in Toronto—and we just had to share what’s coming next with our amazing community.
Over the weekend, you might have spotted two new additions in our space. With the announcement from Hank and Hound (who closed their retail location), we’ve acquired their freezers. That means more room and more options for our already robust raw offerings. 🧊🐾
Freezer capacity expanded from 6 doors to 10 doors — +4 more to store all the goodness!
We now have the largest raw/freezer space in the Ottawa Valley. 🥇
A broader lineup of raw options to explore and enjoy.

Pints and Gourds is back! This year the event will be hosted at with End of the Leash as the title sponsor!

Join us October 18th during the Petawawa Ramble for some great local cuisine from and while listening to talents like , The Valley Drifters (JJ Staley) and !

Tickets are $35 plus HST and fees. They include 2 plates of food, a free branded glass, and a free drink along with entry into some pretty awesome giveaways!

📚🐾 Obedience Tips for Your Pup! 🐾📚

As the kids head back to school, it’s the perfect time to refresh your pup’s training too! A little “brain work” goes a long way in keeping dogs happy, focused, and well-behaved.

Here are 5 quick tips to get your furry student back on track:

1️⃣ Review the Basics – Practice Sit, Down, and Stay daily. Short 5-minute refreshers help sharpen skills and build focus.

2️⃣ Polish That Recall – With busy routines back, make sure “Come” is reliable. Start in quiet spaces, reward big, and slowly add distractions.

3️⃣ Loose Leash Walks – No pulling allowed! Practice short walks with lots of turns and treats for walking by your side.

4️⃣ Place or Mat Training – Teach your pup to relax on a bed or mat when the house gets busy (like after school chaos).

5️⃣ Trick Training = Fun Learning – Spin, Shake-a-Paw, or “Find It” games boost problem-solving and strengthen your bond while burning mental energy.

🐶✨ Just like kids, dogs learn best with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. Keep sessions short and fun, and watch your pup shine this school year!
