Why a wait list doesn't *always* work for us;

When we book up our days we have to allow different lengths of time for different breeds, cuts, bathing needs, drying, and space.
For those reasons a small dog needing to reschedule doesn't equal a large double coated dog being able to be booked in that newly open space. Or the other way around, a detailed breed clip won't fit into a bath and brush opening.

On the rare occasion that we have a No Show, that is after we have waited 15 minutes past their appointment for them to arrive, it is most likely we wouldn't be able to fit another grooming into that reduced time frame. That's the reason for the No Show fee.

That being said - we try our best to call people to fill in spots as they become available!

Please give us as much notice as you can for any changes in your appointment so that best plan our days.

We have one Saturday a month when we have Cat Grooming Appointments available in the PERTH location.

Openings as soon as June 14th!

Gail, who floats between the Tincap and Perth location, has picked a Saturday each month until the end of the year to be in Perth to groom not only cats, but also small dogs (under 30 pounds).

Isn't the weather "wonderful" ?

We have to make a decision early in the morning when the buses are canceled if it is safe for our groomers to venture into the shop or if it's better to stay home.

When we make that decision we start to reach out to the clients booked on that day. First by email, it is early morning after all. Then by phone call.

It happened today that one of the clients booked in for this afternoon is a new client - the number given isn't in service... with no other way of contacting them - I'm posting on here - if you have recently moved to the Perth area from Alberta and changed your phone number, we have tried to contact you about moving your appointment.. - Sorry we can't reach you!

Regular Clients - Do we have your email address on file? Is there another way you would like to be contacted?

We can check voicemail messages remotely, leave us a message, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hello December - AKA the Busiest Month for everyone!

I really do hate to add onto your already stressful and busy month, but here are a few notices that I need to share with you all.

Good News Notices first - Both Tincap & Perth have appointment openings before Christmas!

Neutral New Next - Bad weather, sickness, & power outages are a winter reality we can't control. In the case of those things happening, we will give you as much notice as possible that we will need to reschedule - we are politely asking you give us that same curtesy :) Ideally, we get 24 hours or more notice if you are not able to make your appointment time, but any notice is better than a No Show.

Necessary News Notice - As of January 1st, 2025 we will be increasing the prices on grooming and nail appointments.

Holidays - Groomers have booked off different days in 2025 to accommodate holidays and family events - This is your reminder that you should book your next grooming appointment ahead of time. Or book all of your 2025 grooming needs if you have limited dates and times that will work for you (many of you already have, thank you!)

Attention - I have noticed a small issue with the Facebook messages having a "Book Now" option. We are not set up to take online bookings.

I will be working on removing that option from Facebook as soon as I figure out how to do it lol

Until then, please call, email or message and someone will work with you to find the best option to book your dog(s) into.

As of Wednesday, May 22nd, the following days have openings

PERTH - Tuesday, May 28th, Thursday, May 30th, & SATURDAY June 1st! Those Saturday spots book fast! - Reminder we have Gail coming to Perth on that Saturday if you need your CAT groomed.

TINCAP - YIKES! Depending on size and hair type, there are a limited number of spots before the middle of June!

Friendly reminder that you wouldn't have to worry about getting the best spot for you and your pup if you pre-booked for the year or at the least for your next appointment. :)

I hate to even mention it while we are all sweating so much this last few days - BUT some of our long term clients have *already* booked their prime Christmas spots!
