💐🌟 WEEKEND RECAP 🌟💐

Wow… what a weekend! Despite what Mother Nature had planned for us 🌧️⛈️, our competitors battled the elements and represented our program with pride. We couldn't be more proud of the way everyone rode, competed, and conducted themselves all weekend long ❤️

This weekend we had three teams out representing us:
✨️ Our Trillium Team competing at WCP at the Slide Into Summer Trillium Show.
✨️️ Our Black Creek Rodeo Team competing at the Metcalfe Rode.
✨️Our Jackpot Team competing at Horse-A-Rama in Athens

🐴 TRILLIUM TEAM

🌸 Callie aboard Morton's Platinum Kat had an incredible weekend, earning Reserve Champion in the Modified Pony Division! Against a very competitive group, the pair brought home some fantastic ribbons, including a 6th in the Medal, a 3rd in the Stake Class, and a 3rd Under Saddle. We are so proud of how far this partnership has come and can't wait to see what the rest of the season brings! 🎀

🌟 Kylie and Sincerely Yours also had a fantastic weekend in a large Adult Amateur 2'6 Hunter division. They won their Stake Class and earned several other top ribbons, finishing only a few points shy of Reserve Champion. What an incredible showing from this pair! ❤️

🏅 Anna and Gina KG II continued their successful season, earning Reserve Champion in the 0.75m Jumpers. The pair claimed two class wins, taking home 1st place in both the Power and Speed and Speed classes. We're excited to continue watching this partnership grow and can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for them! 💙

⭐ Justine and Happy Hour put together some of their best rounds to date. We love seeing the progress and confidence these two have built together. Out of a very competitive division of approximately 30 riders, they achieved several personal bests, beautiful clean lead changes, and consistently found themselves near the top of the leaderboard in a large and competitive group. We are so proud of the growth this team continues to show 💙

💚 Unfortunately, we didn't get to see Evelyn and Paradigm K complete their division this weekend. After having a great warm-up, severe thunderstorms and lightning brought an early end to the day, forcing the cancellation of their division. We were certainly looking forward to seeing these two compete and can't wait for their next outing together

🤠 BLACK CREEK RODEO TEAM

After torrential rain turned the arena into one giant mud puddle 🌧️🤎, our rodeo crew still went out and gave it their all.

🐑 Little Gage kicked things off with his very first mutton busting ride and came away with a 2nd-place finish! We are so proud of him. Staying on that sheep took plenty of grit and determination, and he certainly gave everyone something to cheer about!

🔥 Gabriel returned aboard his new mount and, despite the slick conditions, came through with a successful catch. We are incredibly proud of him and all the hard work he's put into building confidence and developing this new partnership

👏 Keegan also had a strong run. Unfortunately, the muddy conditions made for some tough luck. His steer was delayed coming out of the chute, and when he finally got his hands on it, the slick conditions made it nearly impossible to hold on, with the steer unfortunately slipping right out of his hands. While the outcome wasn't what he had hoped for, we're incredibly proud of the effort, determination, and grit he showed

🏇 JACKPOT TEAM

We wrapped up the weekend on Sunday with Danielle and Jett competing at Horse-A-Rama in Athens

Competing at a new venue and against some of the biggest classes they've seen to date—with some classes reaching as many as 42 competitors—Danielle and Jett rose to the challenge. Despite less-than-ideal footing thanks to the rain, Danielle gave Jett the confidence he needed to go out and do his job

💙 The pair achieved some exciting personal bests, including a 1st place finish in the 2D Dash and a 4th place finish in the 2D Poles. We are so proud of this team and excited to watch them continue to progress

✨🌟 WEEKEND RECAP 🌟✨

Wow... what a weekend! We truly went out and rocked it, and we couldn't be prouder of everyone who represented our program. From the way our riders rode to how they presented themselves, every single one of you made us proud. ❤️

This weekend we had two teams out representing us, with our Trillium Team competing at Westar Farms and our Black Creek Rodeo Team proudly representing us at the Lansdowne Rodeo. 🐴🤠

🐴 WESTAR FARMS TRILLIUM TEAM

🥇 Anna & Gina KG II kicked off the weekend in style! Competing in the 0.75m division, this new partnership impressed from start to finish and was crowned Division Champion. Congratulations girls! We can't wait to see what the rest of the season holds for you both.

🏇 Justine & Happy Hour also had a fantastic weekend, putting in some of their nicest rounds yet. A 4th place finish in the Table A class highlighted the weekend, and although a couple of small pilot errors kept them just out of the ribbons in the other classes, Justine should be extremely proud of how well she rode.

⭐ Evelyn & Paradigm K continued to show the results of all their hard work. Evelyn piloted this young green horse beautifully, earning two 5th place finishes and a 4th in the Bronze Junior/Amateur division. We love seeing this partnership continue to grow and succeed.

🎀 Wrapping up Day One was Callie aboard Morton's Platinum Kat. Competing in a very competitive division, Callie and Daisy came home with a win in the Hack, a 3rd in the Medal, and a 4th and two 5ths over fences. Callie has developed this pony from a young, unbacked prospect into a successful Modified Pony competitor, and we're excited to see what the future holds for this team.

🌟 Day Two belonged to Kylie & Sincerely Yours!

After having the winter off, they returned to the show ring feeling better than ever and captured Champion in the 2'6 Adult Amateur Hunters. Congratulations Kylie! We're so proud of both you and Olive. ❤️

🤠 BLACK CREEK RODEO TEAM

Our rodeo boys also made us incredibly proud this weekend!

🎉 A huge congratulations to Keegan on making his very first catch! All of the hard work, practice, and dedication paid off. He went in with confidence, no hesitation, and got the job done. We can't wait to watch his continued growth in the sport.

🔥 Gabriel also had a strong weekend. Stepping up to a faster, higher-level horse takes confidence, and we're proud that he was willing to challenge himself and take that next step. While he unfortunately had a humbling miss on his performance night run, he came back the second night for a practice/no-time run and caught his steer. We're proud of him for getting back in the box, getting a better feel for his new horse, and proving that perseverance pays off. We know this new partnership has big things ahead.

This weekend, the Viewpoint Farms Black Creek Rodeo Team headed out to the Tribute Communities Centre in Oshawa for the first annual Oshawa Stampede — and wow, did the boys ever represent and give it their all 🤠🔥

It was such a great night filled with family, friends, cheering on the boys, good food, good drinks, good company, and an exciting rodeo atmosphere from start to finish. We’re so thankful to everyone who came out to support the team and make the night so special.

A huge congratulations goes out to Gabe for an incredible performance, finishing 2nd overall in his evening and 4th overall for the entire weekend 👏🏆 What an accomplishment, and so well deserved!

And an even bigger shoutout to Keegan for making huge strides this weekend 💪🐎 He was able to touch the steer and get off the horse this time, which is a huge accomplishment in itself. It’s just unfortunate that he ended up missing the steer after giving a slight hesitation while the horse rounded off. Aside from that, it was super smooth sailing from there, and it’s amazing to see the confidence and determination continuing to grow every single time he steps into the arena 🔥

We are incredibly proud of both boys and the hard work, dedication, and determination they continue to put into this sport. The future is only looking brighter and brighter from here 📈🤠

✨ WEEKEND RECAP ✨

What a weekend for the team! 💙 We are so incredibly proud of the two teams that were out competing this weekend and all of the hard work, determination, and confidence they showed every step of the way. 🐴

Starting with Danielle and Jett, our jackpot team headed to a brand new event on Saturday and came home with some of their best times yet! We couldn’t be more proud of how much this team continues to grow and improve together. ✨

✨ 7th out of 24 in Senior Barrels
✨ 2nd in 3D Barrels
✨ Unfortunately no placing in Senior Pole Bending this time around
✨ 1st in the 2D Dash

An amazing day for this pair, and we are so excited to see what the rest of the season has in store for them! 🏁🔥

Our development team also headed out on Monday and absolutely crushed it. There were so many firsts and so many accomplishments to celebrate. 🌟

A huge congratulations goes out to Westlynn on Exponential Z attending their very first horse show together! 🐎 We truly could not be more proud of her. She came in with nerves of steel, stayed confident all day long, and handled herself like such a seasoned rider. 💫

We also want to recognize Evelyn on Paradigm K, who came out determined and ready to tackle the challenge of the 2’3” Bronze Equitation divisions. Perry’s still a young green horse and not always the easiest ride, but when it’s all put together, he is so fun and super talented. 🌟

Having Evelyn step into the ring focused and determined and confidently get him around the courses made us incredibly proud. 💪🐴

✨ 4th and 5th in her Equitation classes

Having the judge recognize her strong riding on a more challenging horse made those ribbons even more meaningful, and we truly couldn’t be happier for this pair. ❤️

And lastly, a massive congratulations to Melissa on Chrome, who stepped back into the show ring after not competing for 15 years. ❤️ Watching her overcome her nerves and put herself back out there made all of us incredibly proud.

What a weekend for the Viewpoint Farms team! 🤍

This past weekend, Viewpoint Farms had three teams out competing, and we couldn’t be more proud of how everyone represented the farm — always showing excellent sportsmanship, horsemanship, teamwork, and support for one another. ✨🐴

Starting off with our Trillium Hunter/Jumper team ✨🩵, all four girls did an amazing job this weekend. We are super proud of each and every one of them for getting those first horse show jitters out of the way and stepping into the ring with confidence. We’re already looking forward to the next show and everything they’re going to conquer there! 🌟

Huge congratulations to Callie Crain aboard Morton’s Platinum Kat on an incredible weekend at their very first Trillium show together. The pair earned a 4th place finish in the Modified Pony Hack out of a very competitive group, as well as Reserve in the Modified Pony Medal. Callie piloted Daisy bravely all weekend and truly impressed us all. We are so proud of this team and excited for what’s ahead for them! ✨🏅

Another big congratulations goes out to Anna aboard Kiss Me I’m Irish on their 3rd place finish in the 0.65m Table A Immediate Jump-Off. Such a great accomplishment and a fantastic ride! 💫🐎

Our second team this weekend was our Jackpot Team 🤠🔥, with Danielle Beals and Jet heading to the Hot 2 Trot Jackpot and having an awesome day, finishing:
🏅 5th in the 2D barrels
🏅 5th in the 3D barrels
🏅 3rd in the 3D Barrel Second Chance

As well, a huge congratulations to Danielle on finishing 3rd overall in the 1D barrel placings for the Hot 2 Trot Spring Series! What an accomplishment for this team! 🐎🔥🤠

Last but certainly not least, our Black Creek Rodeo Team 🐂🤠 had an incredible weekend! We want to give a huge congratulations to Gabe Hennin and Keegan Beals on their very first rodeo steer wrestling at Ormstown Kioti Pro Rodeo hosted by Black Creek Rodeo.

Gabe had an incredible weekend, earning a 2nd place finish in the Saturday night performance and finishing 4th overall out of both evenings combined. We couldn’t be more proud of how he did at his very first rodeo! 🐂🏆🤠

Keegan also had a great run this weekend. With only learning how to ride this winter, competing at his first rodeo, and doing it all on a new horse that he had never ridden before, he did an incredible job getting in there and getting some of those first rodeo nerves out of the way. Even though he missed his steer, we are still incredibly proud of how he handled himself and the effort he put in! 👏🤠🐂

Again, we are beyond proud of all three of our Viewpoint teams for going out, trying their best, supporting one another, and representing the farm so well. That’s all we can ever ask for, and each and every one of you make us proud. ❤️

So proud of our team after an incredible schooling day at Wesley Clover Parks 🤍🐴

We didn’t just show up today — we showed up and delivered. Our riders pushed through nerves, trusted their training, and rose to the occasion when it mattered most. That kind of grit and determination is what sets this team apart, and they proved it today.

This day was about growth, confidence, and experience — and our team embraced every bit of it. From the small wins to the big breakthroughs, it was so special to watch everything come together. The teamwork, the support, the energy… it’s what makes this group so strong.

As a trainer, I couldn’t be more proud. Being in their corner, helping them chase their goals, and watching them step into their potential is something I never take for granted. And the best part? They’re helping me live my dream right alongside them. That means everything 🤍

And of course, a huge thank you to everyone who came out to help, even if you weren’t riding — we truly couldn’t have done it without all of you. From the extra hands keeping things organized and running smoothly, to the incredible people behind the scenes — our farrier, our vet, our feed company, Mad Barn, the trailer guy and Voltaire Saddles — all of you play such an important role in keeping everything and everyone performing at their best. What a great experience this weekend at the Hot to Trot Jackpot 🤠

We had an incredible turnout, and we’re so thankful to everyone who came out to support us — it truly means a lot to our team

A big shoutout to Danielle and Jet, who went out and gave it their all. This is a brand new partnership, and this weekend marked their very first event together. It was also their first time ever running poles, and they rode their absolute best, finishing 9th out of 13 — such a solid start!

They also stepped into their first Open Jackpot together. After a little miscommunication at barrel three in the first run, they came right back with determination and grit for the second chance Open. They meant business and ended up placing 8th in the 2D — such a great comeback

We’re so proud of this pair and everything they accomplished. The representation this weekend was strong, and we’re excited for what’s ahead 👏

✨🐴 VIEWPOINT CREW ON THE ROAD 🐴✨

This past weekend, the Viewpoint crew headed out for an amazing clinic hosted by Kuruka Equestrian with clinician Hyde Moffatt 💫

A HUGE thank you to Kuruka Equestrian for such a beautiful, well-organized clinic 🙌 It was incredibly special to be back in our hometown where it all started
❤️ Fun fact: this is where my riding journey first began, back when we owned it as Liberty Farms 🏡✨

I couldn’t be prouder of how our riders represented the farm this weekend 👏🔥 It was such a fun-filled few days that brought us even closer together 🫶 We received some amazing compliments, and came home feeling motivated with lots of new tools and exercises to keep improving 📈🐎

And a special shoutout to Hunnybloom Studio 🧵🖤 for our matching sweaters — seriously SO comfy, amazing quality, made so quickly, and at such a great price!! We loved them!! 😍✨

DIY Board Opportunity – Viewpoint Farms
Viewpoint Farms is offering two DIY board spots (indoor or outdoor board available) in exchange for morning chores Tuesday–Friday *7-10 stalls, owner does feed and turnout*
What’s required:
• Morning stall cleaning (mucking stalls)
• Making sure stalls are set up with hay and water for horses coming in
👉 Feeding and turnout are NOT required — the owner handles that.
What’s included:
• Hay and bedding can be supplied for DIY stall board
• Outdoor board includes supplied hay, access to a water trough, and a shelter
Time commitment:
Approximately 1.5–2 hours per morning, maximum.
We currently have 7 stalls, with the occasional increase to up to 10 stalls.
Who this is perfect for:
This is an ideal opportunity for:
• Someone working full-time who wants to save on board
• A junior or young amateur looking to help make horse ownership more affordable
Barn extras:
• Lessons available with an on-site coach
