Wow, what a great weather change for Penticton. But I wonder. Ticks probably were not much trouble with the heat, But will our beautiful weather bring back the problem. Is it time to be vigilant again? My best bet is be prepared.

I think my daughter and granddaughter love dogs as much as I do.

From what I understand they are being much more strict on dogs being brought over the border. If you have to take your dog with you, make sure you have proof of shots and health. With the way things are going at the border you never know. Will they just make you turn back, or will they take the dog?

Obviously not enough of the right stuff was on my list of things to do this holiday season. So sorry I did not post that Cliff was taking 2 weeks off over the holiday. It is the only time he gets a big break from work during the year, and I forgot to post it to the rest of you. It's something we do every year. Will be Open this Tuesday as usual. Cliff enjoyed his much earned rest. Again, so sorry for neglecting to let the rest of you know.

So for Pearl she lived through another New Years and fireworks. Just a little walk and then home before bed. Nothing hurt her and she happily came home and snuggled in. When the dogs were pups we played fetch and hide and seek in the house. They learned that all of that noise outside meant 'playtime'!!!

This is not her dog. But my granddaughter is so accustom to how to communicate with dogs, she's got it all figured out.

No she's not dead. She was asked to have a rest, so she did. There was someone close by to give her a hug. Love Halloween.

pearl is trying to help, but this computer stuff has her confused. Someone contacted us but we don't know how to get in touch with them because their email was wrong. It was on Sunday.

Just had to put in a picture for the biking season. I always loved having my best friend with me. The best part was, I never had to ride alone.
