Hey neighbours!

We have received a request to borrow a pressure mounted baby/pet gate but the only gate we have in the library right now is screw mount and only fits 29"-42" spaces and the requester needs to block a 48" space (stairs)

Does anyone have an unused gate kicking around that you might be willing to loan for 6-8 weeks or donate for us to loan?

We have raised $75 of our $250 goal!

Today is the big day! Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital here we come!

In A Pickle - Pet Food Bank & Lending Library has confirmed appointments & transportation (& volunteers) for 3 of our local client's pups to get vetted at the Community Outreach Day at Rose Valley Veterinary Hospital for October 2nd (Today!)

We are seeking assistance from the community to help us cover the costs to make this happen without impacting the limited funds we have available to operate & keep our shelves filled~
We are hoping to raise $250 to cover the costs for all 3 pups (each ~$80).

One of our pup clients had his birthday recently~
HAPPY 19th BIRTHDAY WALLY! 🎂🐶

Unfortunately, at his age, Wally can only eat Wet Dog Food and we are ALL OUT! 🙀

In addition to this URGENT request for
WET DOG FOOD

We are also URGENTLY needing the following items for pending support requests:

- HAY & PELLET FOODS (suitable for rabbits & guinea pigs)

- GRAIN-FREE CAT KIBBLE (for client w/ special diet)

- CAT KIBBLE (any; suitable for adult cats)

Spent the afternoon picking up donations for In A Pickle - Pet Food Bank & Lending Library today and my heart feels so full 😻

Thank you to all of those that have helped us to grow this little 'pet project' into everything it is today ~

It's been a CRAZY work week - and we're going to close it out with a great big THANK MEW for all the donations we received this week~!

HUGE THANKS to Total Pet for their huge donation of foods, treats, & supplements for pets ranging from the usual dogs & cats, all the way to fish & geckos! They even sent along some supplies for our lending library collection 💕

Special Thanks to Site Manager, Jim, and the team at Spare Room Co Self Storage for helping to load-in this, and many of our previous donations! In A Pickle - Pet Food Bank & Lending Library is lucky to have such a pawsome place to call home!

Last, but not least~
Thanks to community members Tri and Jenn, and also to Sarah over at Graphically Hip for responding to last weekend's request for donations~
(We've got a good stock of small boxes and plastic containers now - but we are still requesting large zipper seal bags and heavy paper grocery bags as the few we have will not last long!)
