Her devotion to preserving the German Shorthaired Pointer as a sound, versatile, and loving companion. Her breeding program reflects an unwavering commitment to health, temperament, structure, working ability, and breed preservation. Each litter is thoughtfully planned with the future of the breed in mind, and every puppy is raised with exceptional care and attention.

We are especially thankful that Janna entrusted us with Tikka. She has brought immeasurable joy, companionship, and pride into our lives, and we recognize that the wonderful dog she has become is a testament to the dedication and integrity behind Janna’s breeding program.

Tikka has blessed us with 2 litters of 2 pups each time. They have all become Champions and have earned and working on other titles outside of the conformation ring. Huntley GChS, R***r GCh, Whipple GCh and Ariah GCh. Google defines SPORTSMANSHIP as; an understanding of and commitment to fair play, ethical behavior and integrity, and general goodwill toward an opponent.

The epitome of a young junior handler by the name of Elizabeth I had the pleasure meeting this weekend at AKC.

There was a young girl by the name of Alice that was in tears because there were no dogs left in the GSP specialty to use in the junior handling competition. Elizabeth (who had secured our dog Tikka. GcH Firepoint Good Bones) , took Alice around trying to find her a dog to compete with. When they were unsuccessful. Elizabeth asked me if they could share Tikka as they were in different classes. Knowing Tikka was gentle and willing to show for any child (especially with hotdogs in their pockets). I agreed. Elizabeth turned to Alice and said, “see, I told you it would all work out). Alice took Tikka for a spin and got the pretty blue ribbon 1st in her class. Elizabeth took her for a spin and got 4th in her class. Alice returned to collect her to compete in overall. Congratulations not just to these two for their wins as competitors but wins as exceptional tiny humans with compassion for helping each other.

So proud of Tikka for being such a trooper in the scorching heat and working happily beside each of the juniors that she had the honour of accompanying.

Sadly I did not get great photos and only one of Alice.

Extreme gratitude and thank you to Janna Jackson for breeding Tikka and selecting us as her forever home. Tikka is everything a GSP should be and has produced the same.
