Emergency Preparedness Week is here!

Now is the time to make sure your emergency plan includes your pets. Whether you need to shelter in place or evacuate quickly, having a plan in place keeps everyone safe and reduces stress.

Until May 10, emergency decals, wallet cards and key tags are available at your local Ontario SPCA and Humane Society animal centre while supplies last. You can also support animals in need with a donation when picking up these potentially life-saving resources.

Hello all, please be advised I will be unavailable for pet sitting from April 3rd-6th as well as July 11th-17th.

Our sweet pup, Adele, has been transferred to Capital City Specialty and Animal Emergency Hospital in Ottawa, where she will be seen by an internal medicine specialist. The purpose of this transfer is to get a diagnosis. Without that, we are in limbo, and unable to help her. We are her only chance.
We need the funds to be able to get that diagnosis through specialized testing and consulting with internal medicine, so we are reaching out here for help. The tests and hospital services are expensive. We have to put down a $3,100 deposit for her.

She slept for most of the trip today from Renfrew to Ottawa and was such a good girl when being admitted. She's very good natured and easy going even when not feeling well💕

We are reaching a critical point for Adele, and would greatly appreciate any donation to help with her expenses. We need to get a diagnosis for her.
