One of the coolest parts of my job is the deep bonds I get to build with so many incredible dogs. I get to know their quirks, their favorite sniff spots, the way they light up when they see their friends (and me!). It’s a privilege I don’t take for granted.
But with that connection comes heartbreak too…Sometimes clients move away, sometimes life shifts, and sometimes, I have to say goodbye as a pup crosses the rainbow bridge. Each goodbye leaves a little mark on my heart 💔
As the winter is over, I have to say goodbye to 3 or 5 of my beloved furends until next winter at least 😭 To all the dogs I’ve walked, cuddled, and shared quiet moments with—you’ve made an impact. And to their humans—thank you for trusting me with your furry family. It means more than you know.
That said, with change also comes rare opportunity—Zen Dogs will be opening up a few new spots for dog walking clients in Whistler and Pemberton starting in May. If you’ve been thinking about joining the Zen Dogs pack, now’s the time!
