Some things don’t change… 🐾

From tiny puppy chaos to one year old—and still chasing her tail😄

Watching Poppy grow this past year has been equal parts joy, patience, and a lot of learning.

It’s funny—but also a reminder of how much development happens in that first year. Strength, coordination, awareness… it’s all evolving.

You can actually learn a lot about coordination and body awareness just by watching how they play.

Would love to know—what’s something your dog has never grown out of? 🐶

It’s been a while since I’ve shown up here 🤍

Stepping away from this space wasn’t something I planned—but losing my dog Sheriff, the reason I started this business in the first place, was incredibly hard.

This work has always been rooted in that connection we have with our animals… and when that’s lost, it changes you.

Over time, I’ve slowly found my way back.
While I may have been quiet on here, I never stopped working. The animals have always come first, and they continue to be the heart of everything i do.

I’ve also welcomed a new puppy into my life—adopted locally through PAWS. Her name is POPPY & is now a year old, and like all puppies, she’s been a beautiful reminder that growth, patience, and a lot of love go into raising them.

She’s brought a new energy into my world—and into this work.

I’m looking forward to being more present here again. Sharing what I’m learning, stories from the clinic, and little glimpses into life with a very busy puppy 🐾

I truly want to say thank you to everyone who reached out and showed support during my transition time from Sheriff and into Poppy the puppy. It meant more than I can say.
Thank you for being here, even after the quiet 🤍

Furry Friend Fridays Raised Over $4,300 for PAWS!

We want to send a huge thank you to Lucy Wyn-Griffiths, a student from the Pacific Coastal College of Massage Therapy, who raised an incredible $4,368 for PAWS through her initiative “Furry Friend Fridays” at

As part of her clinical placement, Lucy donated all proceeds from her student massage treatments to help cover the daily food and care costs for our animals. With the full support of the Prospect team, these affordable $20 sessions brought wellness to the community while directly benefiting rescue animals.

Thank you Lucy, Kateri at Prospect Health, and everyone who booked a massage — your support makes a real difference for animals like Poppy (pictured, and now adopted!).
