It's Lost Dog Awareness Day. If you have ever experienced the gut wrenching worry over losing your dog, then you know how important it is to get them home asap! I personally use a Tractive GPS tracker for our dog Boss. There are so many amazing features!

Please note:
*A no-show is an appointment that is missed without the courtesy of canceling. (I only require 2 hrs notice)
* A no-show does not allow us time to fill the spot with another client. (2 hrs notice does allow for this)
* A no-show takes away the opportunity for a client on my waiting list to 'get in on a cancelation. (yes there is always someone waiting)
* It's ironic how often the client that no-shows will ask me (when I call to inform them of their no-show) to 'get them in on a cancelation'...hmmm? Yet they have quite literally taken that opportunity away from someone else.
* A no-show directly and immediately takes away from my income. I am now having to go without my potential earnings from the groom and/or the potential earnings from the cancelation fill in groom. Sometimes the no-show client realizes this and will offer to pay for the missed appointment which is appreciated. But most often not.
* So, Effective immediately
>1st no-show = $50
> 2nd no-show = full groom price
>3rd no-show = you being in search of a new groomer.
