Why Flaxseed?
Rich in Omega-3 Fatty Acids:
Flaxseeds are an excellent source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a type of omega-3 fatty acid. These essential fatty acids are crucial in maintaining a healthy heart, brain, and immune system in parrots, just as they do in humans.
1. Buy flax seed.
2 Grind flax seed with a coffee grinder dedicated only to your birds. Do not use a grinder that's been used for coffee.
3. Place in storage container.
4. Add to your homemade well-balanced chop.
(My chop is a seasonal chop with grains legumes veggies that are in season. It's designed by an Avian vet. And will eventually be available in my online store. That I'm currently working on)
5. Mix
6. Fed to your bird or birds.
7. Enjoy your healthy birds. ❤️
