So what had happened was…

Jinkies never got dried at the salon. She preferred to be air dried. She didn’t dig the noise, overly hot air, or the insane force that most force dryer deliver. But since her groomer tried using Alpha to dry her, she doesn’t mind so much. In fact, she’s kind of living for it now. You go queen. We got you.

Hey groomers! We’re elated to be presenting the Rover’s Edge Round Table with Groom Team Canada’s Captain, Jovi Wagner in partnership with Continental Pet Company in Comox, BC!

We don’t have to tell you about how common burn-out can be in the grooming world and the importance of being with your community. How having other groomers to talk to, learn from, and laugh with, helps keep groomers happier, less stressed, and feeling more sane —especially during the Christmas rush.

So, we decided to partner with Continental and Jovi because we know they care deeply about the groomer community and have a ton of experience putting on fun, relaxed, and highly educational events.

Best of all, the event is FREE!

So please join us for games, brainstorming, education, testing of new products, telling stories, and escaping the grind with like-minded individuals.

Whether you’re there for an hour, the day, or the whole weekend, we can’t wait to see you there!

Saturday/Sunday November 28/29th
9am - 4pm (doors open at 8am)

Happier dogs make happier groomers and even happier owners. Saluting all the groomers keeping their clients safe and protected 🫡 🐶✂️

Parker’s groomer Amanda uses this anxiety hood to help keep Parker calm throughout the drying process. It’s also why she uses our Alpha HV dryer. The DC motor is quieter and the variable speed means she can have precision when drying and lower the noise floor when needed.

It’s getting real out there. Be safe.

Ruby had never loved grooming days. It wasn’t for lack of trying — she just couldn’t handle the noise most dryers put out, and after a scary run-in with a roaring jet engine, getting her to relax during a session became even harder.

What made the difference wasn’t just switching dryers — it was Amanda taking the time to notice what Ruby actually needed. She started the groom slow, let Ruby get used to the quieter setup, and adjusted her pace based on how Ruby was responding instead of rushing through.

By the time they moved into the next stage of drying, Ruby had settled in completely — calm, comfortable, and at ease for the rest of the groom.

That kind of outcome doesn’t happen by accident. It takes a groomer who’s paying attention, and tools that actually support that kind of care instead of working against it.

Sometimes the real difference-maker isn’t one thing — it’s the right combination, and the right person behind it.

POV: Your nervous client is finally warming up to you 🥹🐾

Dryer noise was already tough for Ruby. After a recent scare from a loud jet engine, getting comfortable during grooming became even harder.

Amanda gave her a gentler experience with the Alpha’s quieter DC motor, adjustable airflow and cool air.

Then she finished with the Spot stand dryer, adjusting the airflow and heat to keep Ruby comfortable. 🤎

A more relaxed Ruby. A happy owner. And a groomer getting a little closer to bestie status.

Sometimes, the right tools make all the difference.
