Meet the real life Everest! Our newest little foster puppy available for adoption 🐾 🐕

Everest is a 3-month-old Great Pyrenees-Husky mix with a heart as big as his fluffy paws! Though he’s naturally shy with new people, we’re working diligently every day to build his confidence and create positive associations. His progress has been wonderful to watch!

With timely management and a consistent routine, Everest has been accident-free in the house—a testament to his smarts and adaptability. He’s also crate trained and thrives on the structure it provides, happily settling into his crate every night and after meals for a cozy nap.

When it comes to other dogs, Everest can be a little hesitant at first, but his gentle and curious nature quickly shines through, and he warms up in no time. This sweet pup is learning the world at his own pace and is blossoming into a well-rounded, confident companion.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us .dog.ranch.ottawa and For the Love of Dogs - Ottawa at our grand opening! 🐾 Your presence made the day so special, and we’re incredibly grateful to our friends, family, and the amazing team who put in countless hours to help us prepare and those who volunteered day of. It took a lot of hard work and manpower to get everything ready, and we couldn’t have done it without each of you.

A special shout-out to the amazing vendors who came out and generously donated part of their proceeds or added to our gift baskets. Your contributions made the day even more impactful, and we truly appreciate your support. A big thank you to my best friend Izzy from for teaching me the ropes of the big intimidating world of social media. Because of her I got to meet many new faces and friends that came out to support this event.

An extra special thank you to for donating 100% of their proceeds to For the Love of Dogs Ottawa—your generosity is beyond appreciated! And a big thank you to Doggy days in Carleton Place for donating 100% of their proceeds from nail trims to support the rescue. Your contribution made such a difference!

A big thank you as well to for donating two big gift baskets full of goodies and gift cards to support the rescue. The winners for the gift baskets are Brenna and her pup Bart, and the second basket goes to John and his pup Max. Congratulations and thank you for your contributions!🎁🐶

Thank you also to Sharon Hobson and Morgan Kirkham for putting on great classes! I know everyone truly appreciated joining in on the fun and learning with you both.

And finally, a big congrats to our costume contest winners! 🎃 Odin, who dressed up as a devil, and sweet Lucy, who was an angel. You two stole the show! 👼😈

Because of everyone’s support, together we raised over $800, including the pack walk, which will directly go to *For the Love of Dogs Ottawa* so they can continue the amazing work they do. Nick and I are beyond thankful for all the love, and we can’t wait for what’s next! 🐶 🐕

The excitement is building—only three more sleeps until the Top Dog Ranch Grand Opening!

Join us this Saturday to support an amazing local rescue, For the Love of Dogs Ottawa, and some fantastic businesses from the Ottawa area.

We’ll kick off the day with a Pack Walk at 10 AM, led by the rescue, for just $20 per family—it’s a great way to get involved while helping a wonderful cause!

Afterward, the main event runs from 11 AM to 3 PM with vendors, fun activities, and a raffle, with a percentage of proceeds going directly to the rescue. Come out, bring your family (and pups!), and enjoy a day filled with love for dogs and our community. We can’t wait to see you there! Costumes encouraged!

We're thrilled to introduce Top Dog Ranch, your dog’s new favorite spot for premium boarding and expert training. Whether your pup needs a fun staycation or some training to better connect with you, we’ve got you covered!

At Top Dog Ranch, we offer:
- A spacious 5-acre play area with 7-foot tall fencing for maximum safety
- Climate-controlled boarding spaces equipped with calming colors for your dog’s comfort, an HRV air exchanger to keep the air clean, and blue light technology to disinfect the air
- Boarding trains to combine their stay with effective training
