Welcome to Marvelous Canines - located in the East end of Ottawa. We are a local business owned by Cassandra Boyer, professional dog trainer.

We offer dog training, and dog walking services. Cassandra has been in the animal care and training industry for over 8 years, earning multiple sport and working titles with her dogs. She has her canine behaviour certificate, fear free training certificate and has multiple certificates for completing service dog training courses. Cassandra is dedicated and passionate about all things dogs and uses

LIMA (Least Intrusive Minimally Aversive) training methods in her approach. Each training program curriculum is modified and adjusted to fit each individual dog and handlers needs. Services Offered:

Merry Christmas to our Marvelous Canines family❤️💚

Update: I am still on medical leave as of now… I have undergone 3 major abdominal surgeries so far this year and I am on the road to recovery. Praying for answers regarding my other health issues and for better health in 2025. I hope to be back at work soon!

Hero also had a very scary medical emergency three weeks before Christmas. It was believed to have either been a stroke or a seizure. He has undergone multiple tests, scans and procedures since but unfortunately we still do not have answers. He is still in great spirits but I’ve been a worried wreck. Hero has been my reason to keep fighting, he has been by my side through everything, he is my whole world and my lifeline. I won’t stop fighting until we have answers. Please keep my sweet Hero in your prayers🙏

SDiT Senna and SD prospect Meeka doing some training at Indigo this evening.

Meeka is a 8 month old golden retriever. She is doing a two week board and train with us and has been doing amazing. She’s shown so much progress in just two weeks. Meeka has a great temperament, drive to work, and handler engagement. She’s quite impressive for a puppy her age!

‼️Marvelous Canines Puppy Class‼️

Marvelous Canines will be hosting a puppy/beginners obedience group class starting Saturday October 14th at 2pm in Orleans. The course will run for 6 consecutive weeks with each class being one hour long.

Open to dogs of all ages and breeds. All puppies/dogs must be up to date with all the vaccines for their age range.

Puppies/dogs and owners will learn all of the basic fundamentals as well as proper socialization, engagement and other important aspects of raising a well mannered dog.
