💛 Jet – 2+ years old | Gentle Soul | Waiting for Her Chance

Jet is a sweet, medium-sized girl (about 50 cm tall) still waiting in a busy Mexican shelter for her forever home — or even a foster/foster-to-adopt home to give her a start.

She’s the daughter of Joy and sister to Jenny. Jet’s story began sadly — abandoned at a dog park with her family and five tiny puppies 💔. Thankfully, she was rescued and brought to safety at SOS El Arca.

Joy has found her happy ending… now it’s Jet’s turn. 🌷

Jet is kind, gentle, and good with other dogs. She enjoys group walks but can still feel shy and overwhelmed in new situations. Patience and understanding will be key as she adjusts to the comfort of a loving home.

What she truly wants is a quiet, calm place — a soft bed, a safe garden, and someone to show her that not all people will hurt her.

This 7-month-old bundle of joy is full of energy and love for life! Drupi is a happy, playful pup who adores people and is always ready for fun. Due to his high energy, he’d do best in a home with children 6 and older. He’s still a youngster and will benefit from some basic training to help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.

Meet Barbie, a beautiful young pup who’s shy at first but turns into a playful, affectionate snugglebug once she feels safe.

Barbie loves tennis balls (they’re her absolute favourite!) and has the cutest way of letting you know what she wants — by giving a gentle boop with her nose. She gets excited for her walks and mealtimes, and when she’s comfortable, her fun-loving puppy energy shines through.

She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and loves to play with other dogs. A home with a fenced yard is a must, as she adores running and playing outside. Barbie can be a bit mouthy when she’s excited, so she’d do best with older, respectful children.

💛 Jenny – 1 year old, gentle soul, waiting for her forever home. She is still in Mexico in a busy shelter and looking for a foster/foster to adopt.

This is Jenny, our Joy's daughter who is up for adoption and just a little over a year old. She was found abandoned at a dog park with Jet, Joy, and five tiny puppies — all of them left behind by the person who was supposed to love them most. 💔

The puppies were taken to the local shelter, and Jenny and her friends were brought to SOS El Arca for safety. Joy was lucky… she’s already found her way out. Now it’s Jenny’s turn.

Jenny is a medium-sized sweetheart (about 50 cm tall). She’s good with other dogs and goes for group walks, though she still finds it all a bit overwhelming sometimes. I’m Duke — Drupi’s brother, who is available for adoption here. Sadly, I didn’t get the chance to leave the shelter when he did. No one has come for me yet… I’m still here, waiting in an overcrowded shelter in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, hoping that someone will finally see me and give me a chance.

I dream of running, playing, cuddling, and discovering the world outside these walls. I just want to grow up loved and happy. 💛

🐾 Meet Maya! 6 months young and full of fun! 🐾

Hi everyone, I’m Maya — a happy, playful pup who’s ready to find my very own family!

I was found on the street with my brothers and a few grown-up ladies (no one’s quite sure who my mama is, but that’s okay — we were one big family anyway!). We were just trying to find some food, but people didn’t want us around. Luckily, a kind volunteer rescued us and brought us to the shelter.

Now it’s my turn to find a forever home! 💕

I love to play with other dogs and have a blast running around the playground. I’ve got a lot to learn, but I’m smart, curious, and so ready to explore the world with my new family. Im house trained and crate.

The shelter is very busy and noisy, and I dream of a cozy home where I can cuddle, learn, and grow up surrounded by love. 💖

💛 LINDA – 6 Months Old 💛

Hello, Im Linda, and my sister and I were found among a pile of dirt. There was no sign of our mom anywhere. We were so tiny and helpless, and being left there would have meant certain death. Thankfully, kind people found us and brought us to safety.

Now we’re staying at the shelter, but it’s very crowded here. There isn’t really space for more dogs, and I dream every day of finding a family of my own — a warm bed, soft hands to pet me, and a place where I truly belong.

I am a happy, sweet, and playful girl who loves attention. I adore being around people and enjoy every moment of love and kindness I receive. Of course, I still have a lot to learn — I’m just a puppy! But I’m eager and smart, and with your patience and guidance, I’ll grow into the best companion you could wish for.

I can already picture it: going on walks together, exploring the world, playing in the yard, and ending the day cuddled up by your side. That’s my dream.

ADOPTED!

Joy is now available for adoption and is being fostered in the Ottawa, ON area.

Meet 4 year old Joy.... Adorable, smart, playful, and a tad mischievous!

Joy can run, jump, and play with the best of them. She would benefit greatly from a confident dog that she could learn from and have her very own partner in crime.( that can also tell her when enough is enough ) She has no issues with cats as long as they put her in her place, if you have scaredy cats she will give them a chase.

Joy gets amped up easy but corrects quickly so if you have kids that like to play wrestle or run, yell and practice there gymnastics and karate moves she will join in at 100mph and someone may very well get a paw to the face or run straight over and she will with a happy grin on her face.

Joy also picks a person, it takes her a couple days to find where she fits in a new environment and she tests the waters and will push her boundaries but ooooh boy once she finds her place and her person of choice she truly blossoms and her beautiful personality shines. She loves to cuddle her person and would follow him/her wherever they went.. once she loves, she loves hard and falls fast... so the fact that she was abandoned and left brokenhearted and lost is truly
devastating. Joy NEEDS a person who will lead her, teach her, and enjoy life with her, one that isn't afraid of a little excitement sometimes and is willing to ride the highs and lows with her and teach her along the way.

Joy travels well, and after a few reminders walks well on leash, she would make an excellent jogging partner or if your into sports like agility or flyball there is no doubt she could learn and love that too. Joy isn't high energy she can be calm and cool she just LOVES life once she is comfortable and wants to please.

One more IMPORTANT fact about Joy is she really doesn't like being alone she likes to be with you so if you leave her for any more than a few hours at a time she will bark so no apartments. As long as you let her out regularly she is a good clean girl, she would do best with a nice yard she can run and play in as playing a good game with her favourite soccer ball brings out her happy ( yes her ball will go with her )

So the bottom line is that Joy is a ride or die, stick by your side, and love you to eternity and back she will Never not be excited to be with you and always look to you for direction.. so if you dont want that kind of need from your dog.. please dont apply.

Damon is now available. He is being fostered in Ottawa Ontario.

3 year old Damon is the definition of a gentle soul. This sweet boy has faced some tough challenges in his life, including heartworm disease that left damage to his heart. Because of this, Damon will need to remain on heart medication for the rest of his life, as well as daily eye drops occasionally due to some dry eye. Thankfully, he takes both without any fuss, making his ongoing care easy to manage.

Despite his medical needs, Damon is full of energy and joy. He absolutely loves playing fetch and can happily chase a ball for hours. He also enjoys long walks and being outdoors, but he balances that energy with an independent and calm nature. Damon isn’t a barker—even when left alone—and he’s not destructive, so he doesn’t require a crate. He would do equally well in an apartment, condo, or house.

When it comes to other dogs, Damon can be a little wary at first, but with slow and proper introductions, he does just fine. Once he feels comfortable, he shows his easygoing nature. Dog Savvy cats would be best as he can chase the. Children 6+

One of Damon’s most endearing quirks is his adorable little snore when he’s sleeping—it’s guaranteed to melt your heart.

🌟 Meet Ghost – The Dog Who Survived the Unthinkable 🌟

Ghost’s story is not an easy one to tell. In Mexico, he suffered cruelty no animal should ever endure—he was beaten with a shovel by a vicious couple, left broken in body and spirit. On top of that, he was diagnosed with double hip dysplasia. But somehow… this boy never gave up. He held onto hope, and he held onto love.

Ghost is a beautiful, gentle soul with a big personality. He’s a bit of a chatterbox so he’ll happily let you know when it’s mealtime! He walks wonderfully on leash and absolutely loves to swim, which is one of his favourite ways to enjoy the outdoors.

Ghost thrives on a strict routine. Regular bathroom breaks and a structured schedule help him feel secure and prevent any accidents. He does have some anxiety, so he’ll do best in a calm home where someone is around often to give him the reassurance he needs.

Ghost’s ideal home would be one with a fenced in backyard. He gets along well with both dogs and cats, but he isn’t suited to households with children or loud, unpredictable environments. Ghost is also managing hip dysplasia very wel but he’ll need an adopter committed to supporting his ongoing care and comfort.

If you can offer Ghost the patient, steady, and loving home he deserves, he’ll reward you with loyalty, companionship, and plenty of heart.
