Hot-diggity-dog!!🥵 The Summer Heat is setting in across Ottawa and the Valley and we are ALL starting to feel it!🐱☀️🐶

It’s important to stick to short walks in the early morning or late in the evening with our pets while our area experience is a heatwave.🔥 Always monitor your pets for signs of Heatstroke when spending any time outside, and ensure they have access to fresh water and a cool environment away from the heat at all times!🥵

Watch for the Signs of Heatstoke in Your Pets including: ⬇️⬇️

🌡️ Excessive Panting and Difficulty Breathing
🌡️ Excessive Thirst and Thick Saliva
🌡️ Vomiting, Diarrhea and Drooling
🌡️ Bright Red Gums and Tongue
🌡️ Lethargy or Loss of Consciousness
🌡️ Uncoordinated Movements and Mental Dullness
