This new branch of Wild Spirit Dog Training will be offering the following services starting next week under the name Wild Spirit Adventures!

- Dog Walking (private on leash walks)
- Puppy Visits
- In Your Home, Dog Sitting
- Off Leash Adventure Hikes

We are a well established business of dog professionals with over 10 years experience working with dogs around Carleton Place, Ottawa West and surrounding areas. We are fully insured, trustworthy and as all of our training students will attest, we love our client's dogs like our own!!

Rupert is doing such a great job! Here he is learning great leash manners so his Mom can enjoy their walks together and can then go more places with his family!

With the flexibility of our Puppy Foundations program we can actually guide you and your pup into adolescents all in the same program depending how you want to space out your lessons.

Rupert earned a super adorable break in the shade at the end of his lesson. Look at those adorable back feet with his little toe beans!! Good boy Rupert! ❤️🐾

We love helping people better understand pack dynamics in a multi dog household!!

Do you ever wonder how to properly integrate a new dog into your family? Maybe you're even having issues with your dogs fighting? Or so busy playing with each other they won't listen to you? We can help!

I have worked with both of these beautiful labs when they each came home (one as a puppy, one as a mature dog). Now Finley has joined the family and just a few visits helped sort out how each dog was feeling about this family adjustment and how to help guide all dogs to be content, still listen and know where they all stand in the family. All while still respecting each of their individual and unique personalities!

Laurin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with her and we know she will be a great addition to our team. She will be helping you and your 4 legged friends build a great, long lasting relationship!

Here is a little about Laurin.

Laurin Fulton has been working professionally with dogs since 2018. She grew up in a small town in the country with a house filled with dogs (at one point had 5 dogs at once!) and has always loved animals and nature. Over the past several years, she has taken on an intensive hands on study of canine behaviours in becoming a Professional Dog Trainer. Refer to Qualifications & Education to see her resume.

Laurin feels it has always been about creating harmony. Harmony between two species that at times, really just don't understand each other. Once you figure out how to communicate in a positive, productive way, you create a magical bond between dog and human. Laurin wants every human to experience that bond with their four legged best friends.

Laurin has also competed in agility at a high level with her English Springer Spaniel Gordie. They placed 2nd on the podium at the 2024 Regionals Championship. In the 2025 Regionals Championship they placed 6th place and had their last competition before retiring from the sport.

Laurin also provides boarding services in-her-home.
