After a harrowing shipping incident beyond the control of my favourite shipper, I welcomed my xmas present to myself! He’s a Grey Matter (super cinnamon champagne). But there’s a little secret about the champagne gene… any het pieds are shown visually as if they were homozygous pieds (but they’re not homozygous). I can’t wait to pair this guy to some of my females next season. 😃

These 2 unsexed babies are finally up for grabs. Offspring of Ambrosia and Spotticus and carrying the red spot gene. Fired up and down and all around! Don’t worry they’ve been extra misted for the stuck sheds. 😉
I only have these last 2 as my breeding pair has already been sold. The last 2 pics are the parents.

The snakery welcomes PALMETTO corn snakes! 🤩Huge shout out to KJP Reptiles for my new pair of amazing serpents. Kevin kept me up to date on my babies as they grew old enough to ship and with reptile express they arrived safe and sound. THANK YOU! ❤️

I am so excited to post spot updates as these tiny noodles grow (and I mean itty bitty… that’s a deli cup there). Because as everyone knows, the more spots the better hahaha! Also, they won’t sit still for photos… not yet anyways!

My male just proved het Red Axanthic 😱🤩

A little bit about the morph: Unlike VPI, TSK, and MJ Axanthic (all recessive) Red Axanthic is dominant. The offspring that are “het” are actually visuals (much like pastel with the super form being super pastel) and a het Red Axanthic looks like they have been washed in grey watercolours so their overall colour is muted compared to normal and their patterns are infused with rich dark black.

So it’s a bit of a misnomer! Sometimes Het Red Axanthic is abbreviated to simply HRA. Why Red Axanthic? As they age they turn reddish brown. And there you have it!
