Last month, Aislinn (RVT) headed to Oakville, ON to attend a 3-day education course about thoughtful, individualized hospice and end-of-life care with The Art of Saying Good-bye.

End-of-life care and hospice services elevate the quality of patient care we provide, honor the human-animal bond, and create deeply meaningful experiences for families as they navigate their pets’ final phase of life. We cannot wait for Aislinn to showcase all that she learnt to the rest of our team (If you’ve ever wondered what we’re up to between 12pm-2pm on Thursdays… This is it!).

Cedarview Animal Hospital strongly supports anyone on our team whose passions lead them towards professional development and continued education. We are never done learning, and keeping open-minded and up-to-date with the latest ideas and knowledge is integral to our core values.

Yesterday, Dr Holzman, Madison, and their pups Kapten, Twinkle, and Rhombus, headed out to DOLLAR$ FOR DOG$, a fundraising walk held by Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. It was the perfect date to walk with the dogs, enjoy the park, and see some handler-canine teams in action. ❤️

Our patient, Rogue, recently paid Dr Holmes a visit to fix up his broken nail. Like any veterinary procedure, nail repairs require our veterinarians to move with focus and precision – and we love that we caught Dr Holmes getting into “the zone” before making the first big trim. 😂 Happy to report that Rogue is all healed up back at home. ❤
