Our patient, Rogue, recently paid Dr Holmes a visit to fix up his broken nail. Like any veterinary procedure, nail repairs require our veterinarians to move with focus and precision – and we love that we caught Dr Holmes getting into “the zone” before making the first big trim. 😂 Happy to report that Rogue is all healed up back at home. ❤

The Cedarview Crew had an absolute blast attending the Ottawa Kennel Club dog show this past weekend 💛 A huge thank you to all those who participated in our FIRST EVER Mobile Semen Freeze Clinic, and helped it go off without a hitch. We learned so much, and are already excited to come back bigger and better next year.

This is our patient ONYX💜. She is a 15 year old Brussels Griffon whose mobility journey began long before we had the pleasure of meeting her. We love seeing Onyx for her acupuncture and rehabilitation appointments.

This week, we celebrate Veterinary Assistants Appreciation Week. 🎉

Our 4 super star VAs, Mel, Cheyanne, Jamie, and Jordan, are quick, adaptable, and reliable members of our team, whose hard work in patient care and hospital operations is what keeps the team flowing seamlessly between seeing appointments and performing procedures. We simply would not function without them. 🩷

Have you ever been so happy to hang out with your friend that you sprain your tail wagging it so hard?... No one? 👀

Willow the potcake visited us after her tail went limp, a common affliction after over-use, often referred to as “Swimmer’s Tail”. She was treated using acupuncture, one of our favourite alternative therapies offered here at Cedarview Animal Hospital. Acupuncture is generally well-tolerated by our patients (especially when a lick mat is involved🧀), and has a wide scope of clinical applications. After just one session, Willow’s tail was back to its regularly scheduled wagging! 🩷
