HAPPY 5th WEEK BIRTHDAY!!
Time is flying way too fast! We have accomplished so much in the program and are doing amazing. Yesterday we went in and out of tunnels for the first time with no fear! We continue to experiment with different objects, large and small, noisy and quiet.

For location exposure we have played on grass, tile, hardwood, mulch, rocks, wooden decks and more!

For sound exposure we’ve listened to lullabies, war movies, Spanish music, cartoons, gospel music and male voice podcasts!

This week we will kick up the sound effects with sirens, gunshots (for the hunting dog), thunderstorms, fireworks and more.

The obstacle courses will also continue to get harder.

Can’t wait to share with you our progress. Also…aren’t we gorgeous!!!! 😍

It won’t be long before they are too big for me to carry in the palm of my hand. They are stunning and each so unique. I love that Mama is watching closely in the back. 😍 1 out of 4 is officially reserved. I have way more applications than I do puppies. I will try to get through all the calls this week.

The vet had a hard time seeing the pups. So her guess was 4 with a possible 2 more hiding in there. The surprise (for me) was that even though her due date is this Friday July 19, she thinks the pups need a couple more weeks to cook! That’s a first for me!! Never a dull moment!

Can I gush a little over Kaiya, from the Little Kalamata litter? She has been working with her OT and Osteopath mom for years now. She knows when someone needs her and she comes to their emotional rescue, I know because I have experienced it myself. She is a gentle lamb and shares her love with everyone she encounters. She especially likes kids, I think she’s learned that from her human mama. How fitting that her “client” is writing about dog helpers. This picture couldn’t be more perfect! Kaiya understand humans. And here, her little client teaches us through her writing that she understands dogs too! ❤️

We use noise soundtracks, a variety of styles of music, different genres of movies and so much more for our sound exposure.

The puppies have listened to classic, rock, Christmas carols, lullabies, Spanish music, pop, R & B, Praise and Worship, and Gospel to name a few.

For movies we also change up the genres because a war movie will sound much different than a comedy or a cartoon.

Proud to have so many multicultural families, so I try and choose movies to represent their languages. In the past there has been Bollywood, Arabic and today is a FRENCH movie!
