Our gorgeous Honey girl’s Embark results are here!🥳
Also check out how cute she is after her Guardian Family took her for her first official groom😍❤️
🧬 She’s genetically clear of hundreds of genetics conditions apart from one copy of a gene associated with a higher risk variant for IVDD, which is normal within the toy poodle breed.
She’ll undergo additional physical and genetic tests before becoming an official part of the breeding program. 🧬
✨ She’s a gorgeous 7/10 for red intensity and a hidden phantom. ✨
What does that mean? Based on her colour genetics she can produce cream-to-red puppies like herself, and black & tan puppies. With the right male she could also produce fully black puppies, sable puppies and parti puppies. 🐶💕
If everything goes to plan Honey will be paired with a smaller Shih Tzu stud for her first litter this winter or next summer for a litter of F1 Shih-Poos

In a few short weeks these boys have turned from sleepy little jelly beans to tiny dogs! 🐶💕
It’s so amazing getting to watch these little ones I helped deliver run and fight and tumble. I know they’ll accomplish great things with their forever families, but it’ll still be bittersweet to let them go💜

The Gem litter is nearly 7 weeks old, and boy are they active! These little guys are running, climbing, jumping, fighting and doing a great job at p*e pad training!🏆🐶
I’m definitely starting to see their personalities emerge, and we’ll officially see their temperament testing results on paper in a few short weeks.💖
I’ve been super sick for about the past week, which happened to coincide with my first week back in University, but I’m FINALLY starting to feel better!🥳
I’m so excited to ramp back up the intensity of puppy curriculum now that I’m getting my energy back.

We’re finally in September, do you know what that means? It’s spooky season!!!🎃👻🖤
The gem boys are 5 weeks old now and getting spunkier every day! 🥰They’ve grown big enough now that mama Ducky will play with them, which is the cutest darn thing in the whole world. 💖
These next few weeks until Gotcha Day are extremely valuable; it’s in this period of time where puppies learn the most from their mother and littermates. They’ll teach them basic things like bite inhibition (not biting hard enough to draw blood) and knowing how to tell when their playmate is done playing. We’ll also be ramping up our curriculum with more challenging exposure activities and moving the pups to a new pen in order to start litterbox and crate training 🏆
These boys are working hard to get ready for their forever families! 💕
Both pups in this litter are reserved. However if you’re interested in applying for our potential litter this winter, now’s your chance! I can’t guarantee that there will be any spots available on the reservation list once pups are born, so it’s best to apply now!

The boys posed with my poms for their 4 week photos in honour of winning the football home opener this past Saturday! 🎉
These boys are almost 5 weeks old and are so active it’s crazy!🤯
They wag their tails, play fight, growl, climb, and even cry for attention!
More and more of their time is spent awake as their teeth come in and they wean onto solid food, however they will continue to sleep a lot over the next few weeks as they grow big and strong. Their precious awake time is spent playing and going through the day’s curriculum.
Right now that means exposure activities/items, noise exposure sessions, 10 step handling excercises and using mealtime to imprint an emergency recall (more on this soon!)

Honey finally went to her Guardian Family yesterday! She’ll be dearly missed as a part of our pack but will be back to visit soon🥰
I’m just so happy that shes found her forever home with the Gosselin family!🥳💕
Honey is a potential future mama to our program and will be back with us to have her first litter this winter if she passes all her health testing!

The Gem boys tried puppy mush for the first time today and absolutely loved it!🥰
This is the first step in the weaning process as we transition from mama’s milk to a raw and freeze dried raw diet! 🏆💪

Ducky’s Gems are 3 weeks old, how the time flies!🥰
Both boys have their eyes open and are now in the transition stage🐾
This is the period of time in which they open their eyes, learn to walk and play, and start potty training!💕
They’re both starting to show little personalities, though these will change over the next few weeks.
🤍 Topaz is more chill, he just wants to sleep and cuddle with the occasional play sesh
🤍 Diamond is a little adventurer that wants to check out everything the world has to offer!
Both pups have found their furrever homes, which is an awesome birthday present! 🥳(I turned 20 last Saturday)
If you’re interested in a Darling from our next litter, I encourage you to apply now! We only have one litter planned right now for this winter/spring, and we can’t guarantee that there will be available spots on the reservation list by the time pups are born.
All our pups are raised on the BAB advanced service prospect curriculum starting at 3 days old with ENS and ESI. They’re also Temperament Tested at 9 weeks old in order to honour our puppies by giving them a voice in the selection process. Each and every one of our pups is taught that the world is safe, people are kind, and dogs are fun!🐶💕

Both pups are getting increasingly more active and are actually attempting to walk🐾
Diamond is sitting and standing by himself, and Topaz' eyes have opened🥰
Soon these boys will be running around causing havoc!

Ducky’s Gems are 10 days old today, what better time to post their 1 week pics!😅
Even though their eyes have yet to open, we’re already seeing little glimmers of personality from each pup, which is so exciting! They will likely change a lot over the next few weeks, but it’s still awesome to see them becoming individuals🥰✨
From now on weekly pictures will be posted on Fridays, starting this coming week💜
