Our Puppy Day was a resounding success, thanks to Denis and Joanne, who brought in their 12-week-old puppy for her very first grooming session. The young pup showed great promise and patience throughout the process. Denis and Joanne are clearly doing an excellent job with her upbringing. Additionally, my two furry friends, Trooper and Harper, were also groomed and were absolute joys to work with. I apologize for not posting as frequently lately; a recent injury to my right shoulder has limited my ability to work as a right-handed groomer, restricting me to a couple of dogs per day until the end of June. Good morning everyone. Wow April was right off for me. So busy. I must say sorry to everyone for not posting regular. It was a busy month with schedules, training puppies so i didnt have monster to live with. We have 3 male puppies left looking for their forever home. I made new ads up for them. What do you think?

We had a couple of canine clients at our facility during my days off. Jenni, a golden lab with a youthful temperament despite her advanced age, came in for a nail clipping. Carbon, another client, received a comprehensive grooming session and was a very pleasant dog to work with. Yesterday, we attended to Honey, a senior rescue dog, and it's heartwarming to see organizations dedicated to rescuing older dogs. Bonnie, who had been growing out her Poodle coat since last fall, successfully completed her 3-hour grooming session.

I am thrilled to report that our work week has been filled with some outstanding achievements. Unfortunately, our online booking system is currently not functioning properly, so please contact us directly to schedule an appointment. If you know of an online booking system that integrates with Google Calendar, please let me know. Today, we were treated to the beauty of Koda, a white Husky with striking blue eyes. Cody, another client, has shown tremendous growth in his grooming, thanks to the dedication of Janet and Lorne. We also had the pleasure of meeting Lucy and Leeroy, two Peke-a-Poo dogs with impressive undergrowth. Thank you to all our clients for making this a memorable week; we wish you a wonderful weekend.

Today's schedule included two delightful canine companions. Rusty, a charming Golden Labrador, was administered a deshedding bath, during which he proved to be an exemplary patient, shedding his winter coat profusely and covering both his father and me. The session with Missy, a dog who had found her ideal family through a rescue, was equally enjoyable. Missy's deshedding was a particularly smooth process, reflecting her excellent temperament and the love of her choosen family.

Today was a productive day at the spa, where I had the pleasure of grooming my first corgi, Giget, a well-loved dog who exhibited excellent behavior during her inaugural grooming session. In contrast, our next client, Gigi the toy poodle, presented a greater challenge, displaying aversion to various aspects of the grooming process, which I affectionately term a 'sour dog', drawing parallels to a horse's adverse reaction in a show ring. Fortunately, such cases intrigue me, and I relished the opportunity to work with Gigi, methodically introducing her to each step of the grooming process in a calm and controlled manner, leveraging positive energy to foster a more pleasant experience. As a result, Gigi responded admirably, and we look forward to her future grooming sessions, carefully tailored to her comfort level.

Wishing you a joyous holiday season from Doggone Dirty, filled with love and warmth. We've experienced another outstanding week, with Dotty receiving a deshedding shampoo and clip, accompanied by her dedicated father throughout the grooming process. Mable, our lovely doodle, had her regular spa treatment while her owner homeschooled. Harry, the cocker spaniel, joined us, transitioning smoothly from farm life. Your trust in our spa is valued. The puppies have made significant progress, receiving vaccinations, microchips, deworming treatments, and are currently in leash and obedience training.

We spent a lovely weekend treating the puppies to a spa day, complete with baths, blowouts, nail care, and facial trims. Their calm demeanor on the table was commendable. Efficiently, I completed bathing and clipping my three adult dogs and five puppies in under 2.5 hours, a testament to experience with hair breeds. The idea of a grooming business with only hairless dogs seems improbable. LoL

The lovely Osoyoos weather has been favorable at Doggone Dirty. Sadie, a 6-month-old Aussie Doodle, experienced her inaugural grooming session, impressing me greatly. Kudos to Nicole for being an exceptional dog mom. Subsequently, we attended to Koda, one of my notable canine clients, who has made significant strides in overcoming his nail clipping anxiety, impressing his mom with his progress. Lastly, Cage, a delightful small mixed-breed, presented a pleasant demeanor during nail clipping and was introduced to the dermal, displaying admirable acceptance. We will focus on building her trust further. Appreciation is extended to all who chose Doggone Dirty.
