For more than 40 years I have been walking, bathing, and generally caring for dogs, and will treat your dog like a member of my own family. I'm also a former police officer with a current police check and will provide your cherished pet with a safe, loving, and secure home while you're away.
**About My Home**
I live just north of Oshawa in the basement apartment of an old country home that is sur
rounded by 5+ acres of green space. Indoors, your dog will be given his/her own private space as well as freely enjoying the common living area. Please note that my apartment is accessed by going down 5 steps, so your dog must be able to do stairs. Outside your dog will enjoy a 5+ acre forested playground with creek — so please ensure all vaccines, along with flea and tick medication, is up to date.
**What to Expect**
Your dog can expect Lots of attention in a loving and patient environment. Presuming your dog is fully house trained, he/she can sleep where most comfortable; in a crate, on a dog bed, or on the couch. As their human you can request regular updates and photos of your pet - or you can follow our regular updates on Instagram and Facebook
**My Dog Preferences**
Generally speaking, my home's small private indoor space is best suited to small and medium size breeds up to 80 lbs. All guests need to be FULLY housetrained, are spayed/neutered, have up to date vaccines, and use flea/tick medication. Your dog must also get along with other dogs.
**Hours**
In-Home boarding covers a maximum of 24 hours from the time of drop off one day, until that time the next day. Pick ups and drop offs are generally between the hours of 8am and 6pm and by appointment.
**Meet & Greet**
I require a meet n’ greet for all dogs wanting to board with me. The meet takes place outdoors at my home and both you and your dog (and any other family members that would like to) need to attend. These usually last about 30 minutes. Bob Rodkin
