So as the holidays approach I would like to invite everyone at Laurendale Equestrian and of course extended family and friends outside the barn to take part in a new tradition of “ giving “ this holiday season. Last couple years I have personally helped a family in need over the holidays season. This year I thought what a great idea to make this a barn family event. I have selected 2 family’s both single mothers with girls. Family #1 is two sisters living together with 3 girls ages 2.3.4 ( this is a family I helped last year as well ) . These are the items that would make their holiday season brighter . 4t 5t pull ups , toilet paper , laundry detergent , meat , snacks , the girls love to play with ; baby dolls , barbies , horses , and playDoh, Walmart gift cards also good for use. Family #2 is a single mother with 2 girls ages 5 and 8 , what they would really love is to get out of bunk beds and into single beds. I was thinking of maybe doing a little bedroom makeover for the girls ( so this would be maybe more on the donation side of things to put money together to purchase beds and materials ) . Any little bit helps , please join me in giving these families a happy and memorable holiday. Let me or Kim Metcalf know what you would like to do for these families so we can keep track and make sure not to many multiples are purchased 🙂 I do have a Costco membership so will be using that to buy some of the necessities in Costco size.
