Rest in Peace Sweet Lexi 🪽🌈💗

Saying goodbye to Lexi this week was incredibly heartbreaking. Although my services were no longer required, I was still able to come over and visit Lexi & Duke, bring some snacks, and continue loving them. I'm very thankful to her family for ensuring I was still a part of their lives.

I remember the first time I met Lexi fondly. She tried to bite me! I was brought on to help with her baby brother Duke and due to Lexi's lack of love for people, I was to just leave her in her crate. But could I do that? Of course not. It only took a few snacks before there was enough trust to open the crate. One grab of the leash later, and Lexi's true personality came out and an unbreakable bond was formed. She didn't allow many people to get to know her but I was lucky enough to be in her small circle. I truly loved her and she will be so missed 💔

Santa was out mingling but the girl found him to make sure he knew she was extra nice! As far as she was concerned, everything and everybody was here just for her. She was so happy. This is what it's all about 🥹💓
